I was given some lovely multi medium home spun from knitwit and here is the toque and scarf that were produced!

really the toque isn't that square  it is just the fact that it is on a blender.

13  Re: My Country Doesn't Have that Round 6 GALLERY!! in The Swap Gallery by peariso on: October 13, 2006 05:59:42 PM
Have i ever mentioned that KnitWit is THE Best Partner?

Yup that's right I got my swap package today and it rocks!

Everything all together

A learn to spin kit! With the prettiest fiber.  I love the colour!  It is a dark teal.

And yes that is beautiful hand spun art yarn!

Local papers and Postcards

Hot sauce and Peppers.  I have been searching for peppers like this for a Very long time.

Sprinkles wooden knife and fork (i totally have to go there)  Burt's' Bees Coconut cream, tropical lip balm, gloss, passion fruit candle and.... mango soap

We have Candy!  Chocolate that I have only heard of...

I also received Kool Aid.  Flavours like Mango and Jamaica. I really wonder what Jamaica tastes like?  Oooo did you spot the paint your own Day of the Dead Skull?

Now this is what I call Beautiful!  It is Homespun Yarn!  I have to think of something truly worthy of it.  (138 yard, 5.4 oz blend of merino, rambouillet, targhee, mohair, cotswold, recycled sari silk, nylon, superwash and sparkle)

Thank you so Much knitwit!  You're so awesome!  And now off to my Abba Zabba...

So I was inspired by all of the lovely books here and I thought I would give it a try as I have all of the materials at work.   I whipped up 3 books in my noon hour, and maybe during sometime that I should be actually working,  Wink

Someone should have warned me that it is very easy to get hooked.

Here are my first ones

The spines
