This looks like it's a moebius strip. These were pretty popular in knitting not to long ago. The idea is that the whole thing only has one side. (You probably did this in elementary school - cut out a strip of paper, twist it once, and tape the ends together. Then run your finger along it - it never ends.)

I've never done any moebius knitting myself, but I know that there's a pattern here: http://knitting.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://www.planetshoup.com/easy/knit/scarfmb.shtml

I'm sure the pattern would be very easy to alter. The one in the picture looks like it was done in garter stitch and is about half as wide. I'm sure you could find a suitable yarn that's a bit cheaper, too - maybe some Noro?

I'm looking for a good winter sweater/cardigan to knit.. anyone have any suggestions?

Well, I'm working on a mariah, which seems really nice and warm so far...and those Central Park hoodies I've been seeing look awesome. But then, I'm just a cable person.  Cheesy

And I love your design for that bag, eatyerhartout...that blue with the white embroidery is going to be beautiful.
15  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Final Fantasy & Kingdom Hearts Swap SIGNUPS*extended* 8/22-9/9 SENDOUT BY 9/ on: August 26, 2006 04:33:59 PM
yes yes!! It was kvery repetitive, but I want to play it through wifi!! Thats what I really want!!!  Cheesy Cheesy

Oh wow, I had never thought of the possiblities with that...man, that'd be so cool! Multiplayer really was the only good way to play it, which was a pain because I only had one controller back then...people had to bring their own, lol.

Oh and don't worry about messing up the shirts, I used to do that all the time when I started making them. >_<

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can get one of the really old ones on Gameboy...I remember this from back when I had a Nintendo Power subscription. I think it was originally on the SNES or the Atari or something, but they've revamped it, given it good graphics and everything - they were doing that to a bunch of the games. I think they put them out for the GBA.

They're doing Crystal Chronicles for the DS?? *totally out of it* I can't say I really liked it when I played it onthe Cube...it got kind of repetitive. But it might be interesting to see how they use the touch screen. Hm.

Augh, my mother has dragged me off to visit colleges and my crafting is running a bit behind schedule...I'm getting home on the 29th, maybe I'll pull an all-nighter. ^_^;; The stuff is looking great so far though, lol. I kinda want to keep 'em. I'll have to make duplicates for myself...

Kairi, I'm being dragged all over the place visiting colleges now, and your second and third shirt sit on my craft desk at home, half-done. T.T I'm getting home the day before sendout, but I might have to send out a day or two late, to give everything time to dry...wah!

We'll see how it goes. I'll send a PM to the organizer of the Geeky swap just in case.

Can't wait to get started on this one though...read a review for the upcoming FF in Playstation Magazine today, looks uber-cool. Yay! Hope everyone's as excited as I am!
