1  UNITED STATES / Michigan / Re: I need to hear from anyone near Lansing, Michigan! on: September 27, 2009 06:21:49 PM
Eaton Rapids. The suspense is killing me.
2  Oregon / Oregon: Northwest / Re: salem city street youth start crafting on: July 26, 2008 04:31:17 PM
Very jealous. If I tried to sell randomly here in Michigan, Lansing would cease to exist. Something about failing economy, blah blah blah, we want all of your money, blah blah blah. Oh, and let's cut education while we're at it.

p.s. Sorry for the rant. It sound like loads of fun. Good luck at your market next week. Smiley

Great job!

I'm in Eaton Rapids myself. Always good to see Michigan on here.

I had to get that out of my system. Your Spidey is amazing! I can't wait to see the third film myself; hopefully your Spidey doesn't give too many spoliers to the upcoming action.

8  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Re: trying to make a quilt from pixels on: March 04, 2007 08:18:00 PM
that would be a bad ass quilt, but from experience, you should try to find a simpler pattern.  by the end you will be so sick of sewing all those blocks together.  i made this for my boyfriend for his birthday last april and i'm still finding thread from this thing stuck to my clothes.  it took me about a month of working on it several hours a day (sometimes 8 on the weekends!).  it came out the size of a twin and i had about 4,500 1.5 inch squares.  it took a lot of prep work in photoshop to graph the whole thing out.  he absolutely loved it, but it was a lot of work.  if you need any help, let me know! good luck!

this is before i bound it.  it's a terrible cell phone picture. swear it wasn't that wonky.

AMAZING!!!! My brother would love something like this. Great job!
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: My Knitted Kitty on: February 20, 2007 05:26:54 PM
Aw! This pattern caught my eyes a while back, but it was buried under all of my bookmarks. I was going through my links on February 13th, and when I saw it I knew it'd be a perfect gift for my boyfriend on St. Valentine's day.

Knitted Kitty needs a scarf for the cold; it'd just snowed six inches overnight!

Knitted Kitty meets Butterscotch.
