I looove that skirt. Ive been wanting a patchwork skirt but I havent got the the nerves to make it yet, lol.

trust me wen i start wid one.. its always... ummmm where do i put this one.. and ends wid where da hell does this go !! easy way is to go on cutting the patches or numbering the patches wen u go...

gawd.. i took 2"X2"squares.. and for the sample.. i stitched the 140 squares and den covered it wid tulle stitchin only 3 edges...insterted stuff and kept on making squares along wid it..
took me about 5 hours to do it.. and the half a metre fabric that i hav took me 3 days ..
ow thanks for likin it by the way.. i was thinkin of a clutch purse too...

that's really cool!
i love the effect on the first one: did you just get a piece of fabric, and then put the stuff on it, and sew some tulle over it? it's awesome. i think it would make a kickass purse.

umm its like half a metre.. it took me 3 days to make it !!!
looks fabulous! A dress would be so cool with it. How much fabric did you do? Is there enough for a dress? Maybe a vest or skirt? But would be a great purse too!

well 2nd post.. made dis skirt ( patch work, mirror lace and mirror work dat was made a long time bak) and also the appliqued butterfly kurta dat was also made a long time back.. just found the picture and am posting it.. p.s my friend is modellin it for me..

well dis is ma 1st post for a craft here.. i like remodellin fabric..
so dis is da sample i came up wid for my surface ornamentation class..
its called da see-thru exercise!
lemme know if u guys can think of stuff dat i can do wid it...
personally i can only think of a purse rite now
oh p.s i used my scanner to scan da fabric...



oh and i forgot to add da patch work dat i plan to convert in to a tube top.. da stripes go horizontal...
