1  Re: Lip Gloss is Forever (along with some kissing advice from the Frog Princess) in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by KniT-cHIck on: August 01, 2006 11:38:05 AM

yay yay yay!
I finally got round to making some lip gloss! It looks like scary goo but it's really divine  and it actually smells absolutely gorgeous, what with the honey, and lovely other smelly things! Also, I had to resort to using the juice from a squeezed orange, lemon esscence, and a tiny drop of lavender oil... (Is it poisonous?) because i looked in the cupboard and we had nothing else really useable.
well, here it is,

i Decanted it into a small pot

It looks like jam!  mmm Smiley

And here it is on.

2  I crocheted an eyeball! in Crochet: Completed Projects by KniT-cHIck on: July 21, 2006 02:24:05 AM
This was my first ever crocheted thing ever! I wanted to make something for my sister's birthday, so i kind of started making a sphere kind of shape, which grew and grew and turned into an eyeball! It is supposed to be a keyfob thingy. Hope you like!
first pic-rolling around on the marble table outside

later, moved indoors.

Detail of the back: I'm not sure if you can read the stitching in the photo, but it says 'I am the eyeball!' on the square piece of black felt.

I wrapped it up for my sister with a tag attatched saying:
"I am the baby eyeball. Please look after me with care and love, and I will grant you a wish.." I really hopes she likes it, but in fact i know she will as she has a quirky addiction to small wierd novelties...

3  New jeans -REVAMPED in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by KniT-cHIck on: June 18, 2006 04:32:32 AM
I'm SO proud of these jeans I revamped! Basically all I did was cut the side seams, and cut holes to lace the riboon through. Then I realized ... I only had enough purple ribbon for one side!So that's why the odd colours. What do you think? do you think i will need to hem the sides or something to stop it fraying? All comments welcome , and appreciated.

4  Re: Photo Frame I Made in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by KniT-cHIck on: June 18, 2006 03:50:41 AM
Thanks everyone so much for their help! I think I've sorted the pictures out now. I made the photo frame in Art. We covered it with paper-mache, and then tissue paper and I stuck buttons on it. What do you think of it?
