1  Re: October 2012 Birthday Swap - Discussion and Gallery in The Swap Gallery by witchybelle4u2 on: November 06, 2012 04:29:33 AM
I meant to post these ages ago! (Sharing a computer with the DH is a pain!)

So here's the first package I receieved from TroubleT:

I LOVE this cowl and I'm totally living in it right now!

And here's the second package from craftaddiction:

This is totally Dylan's favourite blanket! I have an action shot somewhere that I'll post when I find it! Smiley

And check out all the Kool-Aide! Cheesy I'm so excited!

Also... I cannot say how excited I was when I realized the LipSmackers was Ice Cream Cake, not Vanilla! I didn't even know they made that flavour! :O

2  Baby Clothes into Doxie Clothes in Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects by witchybelle4u2 on: October 07, 2012 06:38:59 AM
I'll never understand why buying clothes for small dogs gets so expensive! Our poor little short haird doxie gets so cold in the winter but I can't afford to buy clothes especially for doxies. So what to do...?

How about turn some baby clothes into doxie clothes?! Smiley

(I got the idea from this post https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=338830.0)

I discovered that Dylan wears a size 6-9 months... With a few modifications.

The first recon I tried was a fleecy hoodie.

Here it is before:

And here it is after:

(Extra long winded post with more pictures on my blog: http://wondrasworld.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/baby-clothes-recon.html )

The next was a long-sleeved Halloween shirt:

What it looks like finished:

(On my blog: http://wondrasworld.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/im-batty-about-you.html)

I freaking love them. Smiley (And Dylan does too!)

If I'm haunting the baby section at our local department store for my dog, is it time to think about having kids? Lol.

I recieved a wicked package from my stalker last week but with all the bank holidays, I haven't gotten a chance to post until now! Check out the awesomeness...

The whole package:

A really sweet painting that reminds me of my Sooty. (A black lab we lost last year.)

You can just see a "squeaky" cow in the picture - this has become our puppy's arch-nemisis. His mission in life is to pounce it. Smiley

Cow pats! Ha! Smiley And a pillow that was SUPPOSE to be for the kitties but has also been claimed by the puppy:

And reuseable sandwich bags that I've wanted FOREVER...

Lots of extra goodies for me, the hubby and our other dog:

That purse is beyond awesome and needs an action shot. It's so going to be my library bag. Smiley

Purple is definitely my favourite colour right now. I love this purple scarf:

And there's a purple stamp pad with alphabet stamps!

Finally, a cow (because I'm obsessed) and a hint for who my stalker was:

Thanks so much!! Everything was fab! Smiley

I got a very, very awesome package from my angel, panda - and I have loads of photos! Smiley

Eye masks because when I get migraines, the light sensitivity is the worst.

Wrist rests for my keyboard and mouse at work. Yay!

Fabric coasters. I love this autumn fabric.

Bookmarks and a pin cushion.

A wrist cuff and a tissue holder which now lives in my purse. Smiley

Plastic pop rings and postcards (which I collect).

A wee little gothic dotee which is just the most adorable thing ever.

Thanks so much, panda. This is great! Smiley

Okay... I've finally got the time to share the awesome packages I got from redstar13 and jennilocker.

This is my package from redstar13:

She claimed me for a lens cap cover for my camera but there were loads of extras: Lip Smackers, Koolaid and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. (Which did NOT last long!)

The lens cap cover:

And this is the package from jennilocker:

She claimed me for a shawl pin and again there were mega extras. Can we say sugar rush? Smiley Plus, there were heat pads for my poor, achy hands.

Here's the shawl pin:

It's just like the one in my wist!

Thanks so much, both! Both packages were amazing! Smiley

I recieved my package from Mamatomany! (I've been meaning to post pictures for a few days...)

I only had time to take a quick shot:

I got a little decorated box, a felt bookmark, some funky fabric and a shawl. You can't really see the shawl in this picture - I need someone to come visit so they can take a picture for me.

Thanks, Mamatomany!

I recieved last week but have only just gotten the chance to take pictures. Here they are...

From lindyv321, a granny square bag in my favourite colours:

And, from Phoenixfiredesigns, some Hallowe'en goodies... Earrings, a cellphone dangley (pretty sure that's not the right word but it is 3am so I forgive myself) and a pendant:

I LOVE that pendant. It's so perfect for Hallowe'en. Thanks, ladies!!  Grin

I got my package from Kitten Wrangler ages ago but I haven't gotten a chance to post pics until now. Sorry!

Here's my new (and first!) sock monkey:

(We called him Porridge because he looks like a criminal.)

And a wicked little black purse:

The colours are so me! Smiley

An itty bitty little cow and HP buttons:

Plus a stack of stickers!

Thanks, Kitten Wranger, it's all perfect! Cheesy

I hope you like the tea! I don't drink it myself but the DH tells me it's a good one. Smiley Do you like the scrunchies? I haven't worn them since I was a teenager but when you mentioned hair accessories they were the first things that came to mind. The other ones are bangles (although I suppose you COULD wear them in your hair!). I saw some like them on your wists.
