Gummy candies are my weakness!  This is fantastic.  I don't think they look wonky.  I'm interested in the mold though.  I'll have to look into how to make molds for clay.

Adorable, and I love the rainbow colors.

Don't over think it.  Just like you've just started crocheting, just pick a pattern (like the ones posted) and go for it.  It's easier than it seems, but incredibly addictive.  You'll want to create every creature you think of soon.

It is a bit different from crocheting garments in that you'll be using a much smaller hook than normal so that you have a denser fabric that stuffing can't get through.  It's harder than using the recommended hook, but since you already know the basics of crochet it shouldn't be hard at all.

I finally finished this monster!!



I'd expected her to only take a week or two, but she ended up taking months because of other projects and "creative block"  Roll Eyes

I tried adding some more clay accents this time.  I love clay, but I'm terrible at it.  Definitely have a new found respect for everyone who can successfully get it to do what they want.





The shaping on her feet could have turned out better, but I at least have a better understanding of it.

Her arms also swing at the shoulder.

The weather has at least calmed down here since I finished him.  People are actually thinking of fall coming.
