the quilt look great. its inspiring me to work on my scrap quilt in progress. i'm making a similar one but the blocks are so small (3.5 inches with seam allowance) that i'm going to need 700 and something blocks to make a queen sized quilt. i have 110 so far Smiley

thanks for all the praise. Smiley i've been not quilting for a while but recently getting back into it.

lisascenic: i've been starting to hand quilt(just small things too) its tough on the fingertips

starlagurl: i made those in 2003. Smiley just getting back to the quilting. i'm so glad. cause i have wayy too much fabric. so at least the quilting uses some of it up. as for abandoning craftster i have become hooked on livejournal

http://www.marymaxim.com choose Canada or US site. then on the side there is a section called  Mary Maxim Rug Yarn. click on that and you get the swatches. they are $1.09 US is you buy more than 12 or $1.19 each. sounds pretty good to me.
