1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Ducky explosion!!! on: September 22, 2010 05:28:19 AM

Wow!!  I am a rubber duck collector too!! I have over 300, it's difficult to display them all, so great to see your duckie bathroom. There should always be at least one duck in every bathroom, but to see another bathroom full of ducks is cool.

How do you deal with dust etc?  I had problem with all the ducks on display getting dusty and would take me ages to clean my bathroom having to dust all the ducks etc.  Maybe just where i live.

It's meant to be quite ironic.  I love ducks (i have loads of rubber ducks but real ones are great) so it's not meant at all like i'm into shooting them, but that i find it really confusing why anyone would want to, (being a strict vegie / anti hunting type person) so it provokes comment in my home when people come round.

I hope this is the right place for this, wasnt sure where it should go.

I got some of those paint your own flying ducks and decided to do something different with them

I painted them black and white, then decided that  they would look good in a box you could put on the wall.  I have had an empty ammunitions box lying around for a while (I'm not into guns, but thought the box was pretty cool) so painted it bright red and put the ducks flying inside it, I decided to leave the firearms stickers on the box as i thought it was a good contrast to the ducks and could be a talking point.

Sorry the photo quality isn't great, took the pics with my phone.

Hope you like
