They're really lovely!

One thing is puzzling me though.... there's no screw holes in the switchplate! How does it attach to the wall?
52  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Fess up, who's got a knitting blog? on: April 13, 2006 02:27:36 PM
Ooh, fun 33 pages of blogs! I'll have to read this thread while I'm not at work. Smiley

My blog is http://rycrafty.blogspot.com

I've recently moved to blogger, and some day, when I have some time and an internet connection, I'm going to transfer my old posts over. There's a couple there already, as well as the recent stuff. The sidebar isn't pretty yet either. sigh. One day I'll have the time...

That is the most adorable thing I've ever seen. I need to learn bookbinding. Or maybe just dive in.
54  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Keyboard Purse NOW W/ TUTORIAL! on: April 30, 2005 09:49:30 AM
That is so cool.

I was thinking, and instead of embroidering to emphasize the white keys, you could always have a row of purl stitch where the keys separate. Subtle, but visible.
This has just been added to my 'things to knit' list.

I'll have to find out when I get back! (I'm in Banff for the summer). I've really been bitten by the crafting bug recently, and I need to talk to people who understand.  Tongue No one I know (except my mum) understands what it is like, knitting a sweater, figuring out a new technique, etc. sigh.

Is there a Stitch and Bitch in Victoria that anyone knows of? I belong to the Meetup.com knitting group, but none of those meetings has ever actually happened.

Any Canadians know of something like ProPay in Canada? I'm not sure what to search for in Google.
58  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re:Sophia Loren Stencil w/tutorial on: March 27, 2004 03:12:21 PM
So very inspiring... I think I'm going to poke around and look for some pictures to try that myself! I don't have Photoshop, but you just need to up up the contrast so much that it is black/white, right?

I love that shirt! I saw it a few days ago, and then I was out today and saw plain T-shirts on sale for $5 each, so I bought a couple.  Cool Thanks for the link to the stencil site, there's a Gollum there too, which will be great.
