1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re:Some of my felted purses on: April 19, 2004 10:58:37 PM

one question:
1. how exactly did you make those flowers???

I'm curious as I created a thread last week about how to make another type, but I want to hear other techniques.

The purses rock my shoes, beautiful colors.

Yeah don't be silly! Looks more like mold.

I'm just kidding around, it's really beautiful and looks vintage-ish in my opinion. It's one of those things I'd see someone wearing and jealously covet. Great job:)

I just wanted to mention I found (accidentally) the original topic still in existence. But perhaps a the knit version of this thread is needed eh?

if he doesn't want to knit wristbands, I think he should make an eye patch. Surely he'd win the ladies over with that. Argh!

is there anyone here who doesn't have plans to attatch kitty decals to everything they create?

lol...sorry, i love cats too, I understand.Smiley Although, to change things up I was thinking of adding bjork ducks to mine whenever I make one.

we're just a bunch of old ladies at heart i suspect, for the most part. Wink

...how to make this?

There used to be a topic about how to crochet this flower about a month or so ago. It is now gone but I was wondering if anyone has any idea how to knit this? My idea on how to recreate it is to try to knit the petals separately then sew them all together with yarn in the end...but...hmm.

I really want to try to create this myself, so if anyone has a pattern I would really appreciate it very muchly:) I've got a pin idea that I want to attempt soon!

oh i thought k1p1 was stockinett... Huh OR does that mean knit then purl then knit all in the same row?

sorry, i've never gone and invested in a knitting book yet, i've gotten pretty far on instructions from others, but maybe it would prevent me from making idiot posts like this.

i've got a question:

when knitting in a k1p1 pattern how do you keep the edges from curling up? That has been the one and only thing keeping me from making a scarf in that style. (arghhh!) Smiley

love the keyhole scarf, btw- *robot voice* must-re-cre-ate...
