11  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / My god daughter's big sister Graduation Bear on: June 11, 2009 09:04:42 PM
Here is the graduation bear I made for my god kid's oldest sister. She graduated about a week ago so I made this for her. I made it in her favorite color. I gave it to her today and she fell in love with it:
I got the pattern from the Lionbrand website.

this little kitty I call Shadow and she has a star patch on her eye:

here she is from the side showing her tail:

and finally my bunny who I named Neo here he is with his hood:

Okay now for sites. The bunny Neo comes from this site:
The kitty Shadow comes from here:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=24540477 she has fish but I didn't make it. My Melody and Kuromi are free patterns from Ravelry here are the links:
My Melody http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/my-melody-look-alike-doll

13  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Me and my boyfriend as a bunny couple(IMG Heavy) on: February 15, 2009 07:59:30 PM
Okay this is me and my boyfriend if we were a bunny couple. I made these for us fro Valentine's Day. Of course I got something else but I also gave him this.
Here is my boyfriend as a bunny:

he says he is a simple blue eyed blue t shirt wearing white boy lol. I so love the way he talks too. If I had blue puff paint then his eyes would've been blue.
Here I am as a bunny:

my boyfriend says it figures that by me being goth of course my bunny would be goth lol. I tried my best to do a skull and bones on my top.
Here we are together:

Then face to face:

and finally we like to lean on each other:

The pattern I got off of the Lionbrand website. The bunnies are actually a married couple on there but I changed it to how me and my man are lol. Well what do you all think?
14  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / I made Sackboy! Come look on: February 09, 2009 07:16:47 PM
This is Sackboy from Little Big Planet. He was so easy to make I got him done in one day:

and here is sittong down:

I wish I had a real zipper but I didn't so I improvised with what I had. This was so easy and fast that I am going to make more in different colors. This pattern sells out fast so if you want a pattern here is the link:
I am so glad she was ableto make this in a crochet pattern b/c the only ones I saw was knitted. Well any comments good or bad will be appreciated.
15  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / DORMANT: 8 point round ripple-along on: February 01, 2009 10:06:18 PM
Okay I made a couple of the star ripples, and I made one 12 point rr. The newest rr for me is the 8 point round ripple. If anyone is interested here is the link I use to make mine:
now there is an error on rnds 19 and 20. It says to dc in the next 11 dc's but for rnd 19 it should read "dc in the next 13 dc's" and for rnd 20 it should read "dc in the next 14 dc's". Other then that it is fine. I do more then the 20 rounds b/c the 20 rounds is for a preemie. I just keep going and going. Here ar pics of the 8 pointers I made so far:
this one is about 38 inches from point to point with a I hook

this one is for my b/f's great neice Alyssa 40 inches across J hook

this one was for a friend of mines' little girl named Mariah it's 40 inches across I hook

this one is for my other good friend's son Rodney it is about 38 inches with a J hook

this one is my god son's blanket it is 61 inches with a J hook he is showing how huge it is

this one is my youngest god daughter blanket it is 61 inches with a J hook she is showing how huge it is

and finally the latest one I made belongs to my 8 yr old god daughter this one is the biggest one I made at 81 inches with a J hook. She is laying on it to show how huge it is and she is tall for her age

Well that's what I made so far. I am now working on another one for a friend of mine I work with. She's getting a Pink, White, and Purple for her daughter from me. I hope these pics get you guys interested in making one of these and just like the Star Blanket and 12 point, this 8 point becomes addictive, just look at how many I made so far, and I'm on my 8th one now.
16  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Look what I made come on look you know you want to. on: November 02, 2008 04:57:14 PM
Okay this is not to persuade anyone this is just my choice. You know how everyone has either shirts or signs in their yads with either Yes to Obama or Yes to McCain on them? Well I got a graph with my choice on it:

and here is a close up:

Once again I am not trying to get anyone to vote for Obama it's up to you but this is my choice. I got alot of compliments on it today when I wore it out. I even had a lady say she would buy it from me, but I told her not until after the elections. I did have a program that makes graphs but I didn't like the different letters so I went to this site, grabbed my graph paper and pencil, and copied the letters my self. Here is the link to the site I got my letters from:
www.crochetkim.com. Well what cha think? Any comments will be appreciated
17  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Looking for a site plz help on: October 15, 2008 08:56:16 PM
Okay a while back, I think it was on here. Anyways the site had it to where you could type in any word and you could pick the font, then you click the button and it created a worded graph for you. Like if I wanted to make a cross stitch graph of the word 'Dark Gurl' and I wanted it in bubble letters you pick the color and then wa la there was a graph. Anyone know of the link to that site???
18  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Dora goes Goth!!(IMG Heavy) on: September 26, 2008 06:12:16 PM
For a while now Dora has been watching me and my gothic ways. She's also saw the goth outfits I made for the Bratz dolls as well. So she got up the nerve to ask me for a goth outfit for herself WARNING: Dora doll does not actually talk or move on her own lol. I pulled out my hook and yarn and this is what I came up with for her:

and here is the back of it:

here is a closeup the rings that's holding her chains on:

and here is the close up of the skull I stitched on her top:

I couldn't find a applique small enough so I took my hand at making one myself. Well what do ya think can Dora pull of being goth?
19  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Twin Batz(Img Heavy) on: September 26, 2008 05:55:08 PM
Okay here are a set of fraternal twin batz. The first is Granite, his mom named him that on account of all the rocks and rock ledges she crashed into while pregnant with him lol:

Here is his sister Onyx, she was all black when she was born but decided to go goth, her mom figured she would due to her name being Onyx. Notice her ribbon on her head?:

Now Onyx wanted to do her wings in the black and purple stripes like her ears and body but her mom told her no so she had to keep them all black. Onyx is a tad bigger then granite so sometimes when they go out fliying, she likes to give him batty head rides:

Well what do you think of my twin bats? Here is the link I got the pattern from. It is so easy and so fast, I got Onyx and Granite done in one day:
20  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Fruity Bunnies come see inside on: August 25, 2008 07:31:15 AM
Okay I made the bunnies from a pattern on Ravelry the link is here:
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/bring-spring-bunnies I made eight in different colors and my 4 and 5 yr old god son and god daughter got to name them. Okay here is the first set:

Okay in this pic we have Grape, Lemonade, Limeade, and Blue Rasperry and in this set:

we have S'mores, they called it Napoleon but we know it as Nepolation lol, Strawberries n Cream, and Pineapple Orange. My god kid's were so happy to get to name them and these bunnies are so fast and easy to make. I used cotton yarn and a F hook. once you make a few of them you no longer need the pattern. Well what do you think of my bunnies and the names my god kid's gave them? Any comments at all will be appreciated.
