I find half slips help with things draping (as long as you don't get static!).

I love the colour and I applaud your patience with the dreaded stockinette!

I'm fairly certain the ball you used was 100g, so 2 normal sized balls would do it.

Not free, but definitely fabulous: Stitch n Bitch, The Happy Hooker! There are a few sweaters, a bikini, a jacket, some shrugs/boleros, a shawl.. all super cute.
