1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: A d20, probably not balanced. on: October 22, 2012 02:45:20 PM
Any chance you've been able to find or remake your number graphs?  I started making a d20 in hot pink for my gamer female friend for Christmas.  I'm in the process of making graphs myself but I don't like how they look.
2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Glow-in-the-Dark & Translucent Question on: February 19, 2012 11:15:54 PM
Hey there Smiley

I'm newish to polymer clay and have an idea for a project that I want to do (inspired by this: http://propnomicon.blogspot.com/2012/02/shining-trapezohedron.htm).  But for what I have in mind, I don't want it to glow quite so brightly.  I was thinking that if I put a thin layer of translucent Sculpey over GITD Sculpey that it would make the Shining Trapezohedron look more like it was shining from the inside only and not shining on the surface. (I hope that makes sense)

Has anyone tried doing this?  Do you think it would work?

As soon as I can get my hands on some GITD Sculpey, I'm going to do a couple tests to see if my idea will work, but I wanted to put it here just in case someone has tired this.

These are a modified version of the Ribbed Big Foot Socks by Robbin Koenig.  Top down and magic loop (I LOVE magic loop).
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My First Pair of Socks! on: June 20, 2011 12:11:19 AM
After having a few unsuccessful attempts at sock knitting, I've finally finished a pair of socks.  I'm not 100% happy with them (the cuffs are a bit loose) but I love the colors and the pattern of the yarn. Cascade Heritage Paints in Tropical Seas.

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Help modifying a sock pattern? on: June 17, 2011 12:48:35 AM
I really want to knit a pair of Riff socks from Knitty (http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEdf10/PATTriff.php) but I have super big feet (size 14 D).  I know that I just have knit more on the foot to make it longer, but I'm not sure how to modify it to make it wider.  Just add more stitches on either side of the pattern?  Is it that simple?

Any help is greatly appreciated Cheesy

1) Great job!  I don't have the patience for cables...
2) At first I thought the picture was of Parker Posey wearing the hat...
