1  Smocked Baby Dress in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by ksta on: March 02, 2008 11:53:14 AM

Hi!  I just wanted to share a couple of pics of a baby dress I smocked.  I did every stitch by hand, and even though it took FOREVER, I thought it turned out well.  But I'm anxious to hear what my fellow Craftsters have to say about it (good or bad.) So any feedback whatsoev is welcome!  Thanks for looking!

2  Re: I can ___ but I can't ___ Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by ksta on: September 13, 2007 10:19:52 AM
I just got my package from Noushi, who knit Knitty.com's "Cleeves" pattern.  She did a FANTASTIC job!  That lady's got mad knitta skillz, yo!  Since the sweater was so kick-a**, I wanted to take a kick-a** pic.  So I went to a good friend's tattoo shop (he did 3 of mine) and got him to take a few pics of me with his brass knuckles!  H*ll to the yes!  So here's the pics...

3  Knitted Camille Rose Garcia Doll in Knitting: Completed Projects by ksta on: August 14, 2007 05:17:37 PM
I am a HUGE fan of the artist Camille Rose Garcia, and so is my friend Jackie.  So I decided to knit Jax a doll based on one of her characters, LuLu.  I am not finished with the hair, and yes, this doll is SUPPOSED to look rather creepy! Check out CRG's website to see her work, if you're not familiar with it...me thinks it is camillerosegarcia.com    Next, I wanna knit the PeppermintMan!!

Sorry this pic isn't very clear...I think the flash was off on my cam!

4  Pinup Girl Convertable Purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ksta on: August 13, 2007 07:27:03 PM
Here's a bag I did that you can either wear as a hobo-ish shoulder bag, but you can also use as a wristlette/bangle clutch if you decide to take off the detachable chain handle.

5  Knitted Cable Clutch in Knitting: Completed Projects by ksta on: August 13, 2007 06:28:40 PM
I saw a similar clutch in a catalog and fell in love with it.  Problem was, it cost almost $300!!  So I thought, "Eff that!  I can make an even BETTER one!"  So here's the result.  Hope you like!

6  Denim Clutch in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ksta on: August 13, 2007 06:23:45 PM
Here is one of my favs I have done, but you can't see the details very well in this pic.  I knitted the trim with beaded wire, then made the clutch and sewed the trim on.  It was a fun one to make Smiley

7  My DEVINYL record bags... in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by ksta on: August 13, 2007 06:19:17 PM
Here are 2 of the bags I've made using records.  They're pretty much the same style/design.  I have done a few other ones, but these babies sell fast (and I always forget to take pictures!)  I've said it once, and I'll say it again- I love my Craftster feedback!
