11  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: My new teddy bear - "COL" (Cuteness Over Load) on: July 07, 2012 10:21:02 PM
Wow, he is sooooo cute!! I first thought you had crocheted a Teddy Ruxpin, because that's exactly who he looks like. Great job, he looks awesome!

Me too!
12  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: More Gamer Geekery charms - Yoshi eggs + Pokeballs on: June 12, 2012 04:53:10 PM
I really like them, especially the yoshi eggs.  I would like to try making some of those to make knitting stitch markers out of.
13  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / is there a way to change your username? on: June 11, 2012 10:47:23 PM
I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but I was wondering if there was a way to change your username?  The name Ambo, does not fit me and reminds me of a person I used to be but am not anymore.  I would like to change it if at all possible.
14  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / DPN case on: June 11, 2012 10:42:49 PM
I'm a Hufflepuff in the Harry Potter Knitting & Crochet House Cup group on Ravelry.  I'm on hiatus from the game this month because I had carpal tunnel release surgery on the 24th of May so I've been going crazy with boredom since I can't do handwork.  I bought a few sets of DPNs on eBay a couple of weeks ago and decided I wanted to make a case to keep them as well as my other sets of DPNs organized.  I also wanted to make a Hufflepuff themed (sort-of) item.  So here is my case:

Those are so cool.  Awesome job.

Is there a pattern for these guys?  I would love to make one!

I second this.

18  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: What did I do wrong? on: March 04, 2012 07:00:59 PM
while I was waiting for a reply on this I posted to another site.  The consensus there was that I probably accidentally purled.  I looked at the work and it does look kinda like that.  I started with 8 cast on and still have 8 stitches on there.

There's a weird looking spot on my knitting.  I'm a total newb to knitting and am not sure what this is. Where the stitches are slanted.

20  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / how to pick fabrics on: February 24, 2012 06:53:55 PM
I have an awesome 12 patch quilt my mom made for the family when I was around 2.  She hand cut all these 2" squares (1296 of them), machine pieced them, and then hand quilted it.  Unfortunately I and my younger sister had night wetting issues so the quilt got washed A LOT.  the quilt is destroyed basically, unusable and I want to make my own.  She used little scraps she had from other quilts she had made and clothes she had made me, but I don't have scrap fabric.  So how do I pick the fabrics?  I don't want it to be matchy, I want it to look scrappy, I think.
