I made this tank top myself from a completely original pattern that I will be posting on my blog hopefully before the weekend. I hope you all like it.  Grin

Hi Everyone I've got the pattern up on my blog now. It goes from size Small to X-Large. If anyone encounters any problems with the pattern let me know so I can fix it. I thinks its okay though.  Smiley

23  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Short Sleeved Raglan Pullover HELP!! on: December 31, 2006 06:37:26 PM
Hi everyone I desperately need help with this pattern http://elann.com/ShowFreePattern.asp?Id=141024 I am so unbelievably lost. I bought the yarn for it and the needles.

My first problem is where it says BACK it tells you to cast on 67 stitches but it doesn't say which needles to cast on with. Is it the straight or the circular? am I supposed to join the round?

I have never knit a raglan top before so pretty much everything is just jeeberish. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

25  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Help Me Find A Pattern For This Bag on: September 15, 2006 02:36:02 PM
I was at the mall yesterday and saw this bag http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=207661&CategoryID=208&LinkType=EverGreen I really love everything about it except the material that it is made out of. I am not a good enough sewer to make up a pattern for it on my own so if you could help me find a pattern that looks as close to this bag as possible that would be great.

P.S. I don't care how much the pattern costs I really want this bag. lol.

Hello everyone I am new to sewing. I have only done liners for handbags on a machine and thats it. I am about to start sewing more and would like to know if any of you can recommend some great books or online resources for learning different sewing techniques and what kind of fabrics are best for different kinds of garments and a good simple intruction on garment construction. Maybe also some recommendations for sewing machines overlockers dressforms(not sure if I need one or not) I am going to be getting started on halloween costumes for my little brother and sister and really need some advice. Thanks Smiley

P.S. If you buy an overlocker do you need a sewing machine or can you use it for everything?

28  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Labeling Knitted Items? on: August 11, 2006 10:26:50 AM
Hi I was just wondering if any of you label your knitted items using ink stamps. I am going to order a custom stamp with my business name on it to label all of the items I make to sell but I don't know where to get a stamp from that can be stamped on knitted fabric. If any of you use these kind of stamps can you please tell me where you buy yours from and how well they work. Thank everyone. Smiley

I hand dyed the yarn myself with koolaid. I love these gloves and I can't wait till it gets cold enough to wear them.
