1  Re: NEED HELP WITH SHIRT! need creative mind with cool design...cool i rhymed in Stenciling: Discussion and Questions by Fudgegirl on: July 10, 2007 05:59:01 PM
i played around with the stencil and come up with these:

ooh! i just had an idea... i dunno where you're from, but depending on what uniform  the unpires wear, if they do the stripey white and black shirt thing, you could stencil some stripes around the guy kinda like i did (except of course you will actually do them nicely...Tongue ), I was thinking if you shaped the ends of the lines sort of to his body more, it could look good  Smiley
i can't describe what i mean by shape the ends of the lines.... sorry if you're confused!

if you want to use them (go nuts) be aware that they are both in the one picture, so when you sve it, you'll save both- just crop the one you don't want....
hope you like em Wink

hey, i think i can help.....
you'll have to ignore all the other parts you dont want, but these might be usefull:

they're from an artists site (Simone Jessup), i know shamefull, but i'm not claiming them as my own work, and i wasnt intending to use them- i have them on my computer because i enjoy looking at them.
anyhoo, good luck with you stenciling

3  Bottlecaps + Pants + pillowcase =.....pencilcase? in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Fudgegirl on: October 05, 2006 03:22:15 AM
Well, what can i say? I think it speaks for itself.
here 'tis:

this is the inside, plus all the junk thats in my pencilcase:
(that blue part is the lining of the pocket. Thats the part that once was a pillow case.)
Ooh la la! i have a satin lined pocket!
so yes.. the black material was once my pants, but i grew out of them and couldn't bear to chuck them away. Its a really nice soft suede fabric. (...just in case you were wondering Tongue)
and thanks to d for sending me all the bottlecaps (except that Lee Kum Kee one...that was from a bottle of soy sauce) and i hope my package has reached you already.

I think that's all for now, I'll try and post up some better pictures later. (i know everyone says this, but the pictures really don't do it justice. It looks way better in real life) I hope you like it and please post feedback! (even if you don't like it  Tongue)

4  Re: Chocolate Bookmark=sweet! in Completed Projects by Fudgegirl on: September 17, 2006 07:01:13 PM
explain? sure Grin
what i meant was that i did exactly the same thing, except i used foam that was 2mm thick (sorry, i dont know that that would be in inches or anything), and even though that is pretty thin, it holds up pretty well too. I just posted that coz you were talking about which thickness of foam is best.
so here you go, these are some of my attempts

'scuse the dodgy-ness of that photo.... they look better in real life, i swear! Tongue
I made some other ones that were better... these ones are sort of half finished. The ones i did before had bite marks and other interesting stuff too.

5  super-cool cuff in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Fudgegirl on: August 26, 2006 10:07:49 PM
hey everybody (sorry about blowing my own trumpet with the title, but i'm very proud  Wink)
this is my first ever cuff. i made it from some leather which used to be a handbag, and  the metal is part of a soft-drink can. um... what else can i say? here 'tis:

and this is me wearing it:

and this is a part which i hurt myself making... the back
okay okay, you're probably thinking 'so what?' but i was very proud of myself for doing a neat job with the press-studs, (not for hurtng myself) and i uh, was using a very sharp needle, and i uh, accidentally got the back end, the eye part, well i got that in my thumb... and i mean in! it hit the bone...... Tongue oops
now, sorry for grossing you all out, but can you please post some feedback? btw, the metal doesntlook as bad in real life as it does in the photos. Thanks,  Grin
please.... post feedback. good or bad, i still love you Undecided

6  Re: clear vinyl wallets in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions by Fudgegirl on: August 26, 2006 05:30:13 AM
hi again everybody.. sorry i didnt post my wallet ages ago, but thats what i'm here to do now.
this is probably the best shot (thats a bus card in it to give a bit of perpective or whatever)

this is the 'note' part

ew! i just realised what gross hands i had/have! eeeerrghk! why do my hands look like kiddie hands? and why can't i stoip biting my nails!? Shocked mleeurkgack! (<- random screaming noise)
....sorry about that little outburst....

moving on Wink... this is a picture of the inside of the wallet

and here's the outside:

i didnt have any vinyl, because i'm such a cheapskate, and also becuase i love contact, i just stuck two sheets of contact together to make the clear stuff....omg, did that make any sense at all? Tongue anyway, it was a bit dodgy, but hell, it was a prototype  Wink um..... for the pictures, i just printed out two things, then i glued them back to back. I dont think i have any more non-wisdom to share, so that'll be all lovelies. Kiss

7  Re: Ghibli swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Fudgegirl on: June 29, 2006 07:00:44 PM
Okay, well I was swapping with Microgirl (as i have already said...oops), and here's the stuff she sent me!
This is a shot of all the stuff, together :
the bag is actually more ... smooth? y'know, its less grainy and more black. Its a handbag which she made and.... Hand embroidered! the embroidery is so fine and beautiful....  Grin I love it.
Here are close ups of the other things:

these are the models she sent me; the totoro one isnt actually that dirty, i swear! i think it was just dust or something..... anyway, they are about 4cm high, and really, really cute.
Microgirl also sent me a necklace, the one from "Laputa" !

Grin Thanks so much for swpping with me Microgirl!

sorry for all the typos i'm sure i've done....

10  I Finally made something! (img heavy) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Fudgegirl on: March 15, 2006 02:56:12 PM
Hey all....(BTW this is my first project post... i finally made something worth posting!!)
A while ago i made this post: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=79143.0 about some metcards i had. I was thinking of making a bag, and a  few people suggested it, so i did. This is it, the bag that makes people stare at me when i catch the bus...
My Metbag!
the front:

the back:

the bottom:

the sides:

the bottom:

the inside:

and, finally, the pocket!

Sorry for the millions of pictures - it took quite a while i am very proud of it (except the fact that i am very smart and put my maths textbook, history stuff, and a bunch of other junk in it, making the straps break....)
Oh, and don't worry, i'm not mental... the pocket is a joke - that day, before i made it the buses had fudged everyone at my school around.
Thank you for looking... please post comments and criticism
