Huh I'm not very crafty...can you reveal how you did all of that stenciling? The shoes are adorable!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: More reversable pleats w/ red on red SPARKELY plaid on: January 19, 2007 06:48:59 PM
I love Spiderman (the movie...) and I would wear that skirt to the movies to see Spiderman 3, which will be in theaters in 4 months. It's just that great!
3  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: Dancers: Easy-to-make Footwear you will LOVE! on: June 24, 2006 10:19:53 PM
I wish you had posted this when I was a dancer! lol Good job.

I can't believe you had the patience to sew a purse by hand! Congratulations; it looks good from what I can see in the pictures.

The fabric is lovely indeed, and the purse looks professional. Good job!

So pretty! I love the cute lining. Can you tell us what pattern you used?
7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Crafting Help/Ideas/Projects/Tutorial Website - Help with name on: June 09, 2006 09:49:20 PM
What about something like "Deep V Vintage" (since the dresses in the banner have v-necks.) Just one terrible idea, but I had to take a stab. Also, just a comment from a designer's point of view: will the girl's wrist be leaning on the name of the site? It would be kind of odd if she were leaning on nothing. Good luck with the site!
8  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: My Communist Shoes on: June 09, 2006 09:12:06 PM
I have an obssession with that symbol and etched it on my boyfriend's wine glass (well, we're Russian.) The shoes are going to be so great when you paint that on! Good luck!
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Anyone speak French and know how to order from Phildar? on: June 08, 2006 11:21:41 PM
What's very strange is that in the top left corner there is a button "English" but it doesn't actually change the language. This might help you, however: http://alison.knitsmiths.us/phildar_info.html

Good luck!
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: polka dotted shirt, a bit blab and pic heavy :D on: June 02, 2006 01:53:13 AM
That came out well! I really like the shape of the shirt and the polka dot fabric. I think people may be asking you for a tute soon.

Oh, and it's absolutely fine to begin a post with a little story before unveiling the creation.  Smiley
