1  EUROPE / FRANCE / Re: Let's introduce ourselves on: July 25, 2005 11:33:44 AM
Oops ! I should check more often ...
I'm @nna, French, living in Lyon. I can sew, knit and paint  but since I have to work full time, I don't have enough free time  Sad
I love to find fabrics and clothes in "friperies" and other Emmas-like stores. And if I were rich, I'd would buy everything in La Droguerie  Wink
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Gwennabe Zim Hat! on: January 25, 2005 01:42:05 PM
I liked your hat so much that I tried to make one too.
Unfortunatly, I'm not as talented as you are ; I only came up with this (don't look at my face : it was getting late when I was done)

I wish I could be that talented...
Do you think you'll post the pattern or publish it somewhere ?

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: what's your favourite knitting tip or trick? on: October 22, 2004 10:50:42 AM
I absolutely hate weaving in all those stupid threads. So I leave them super long and use them to sew the different parts of a garment.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Spangle Sequins Scarf on: October 22, 2004 01:09:25 AM
Your scarf is ab-fab : the perfect pattern for a scarf I will knit as X-mas gift for my mom.
Off topic : are you really the Jordana Paige, the one who designed the parfect knitter's bag ?
I'm in love with it !  too bad I can't find it in France....
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Lovely Lingerie on: June 09, 2004 11:20:39 AM
On this Japanese website, you can learn how to make several kind of panties :
I tried once, just for fun : it came out pretty nice, but I need to practise to get them perfect Wink
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Skirts, skirts, skirts on: June 04, 2004 01:40:49 PM
Yes, I had to line them because the fabric was really thin. Plus it help them staying straight, which is a must in my windy city.
As per usual, I used old pillowcases : my favourite stuff  Grin

I would pay $40 for one !
That's very sweet of you.
But I'd be a thief to let someone pay 40 bucks for a skirt that costs only 2.
I considered selling them, but shipping fees are so expensive (expect 20 $ for shipping from France).
