22  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / T-shirt Overnight Bag. on: January 25, 2006 09:19:05 PM
Hey all I made this t-shirpt overnight bag, for when I took a bit of a vacay to DeKalb, Illinois to take my lil sis to college. It worked really well for 2 days worth of clothes

Sorry for the blurry pics, but let me know what you guys think, I did a version of this bag at OhMyStars, fab-o site btw....; http://img15.photobucket.com/albums/v44/ohmystars/tss/tut-totebag.gif But, the bag was made by using an old t-shirt I got at Steve and Barry's Sportshop for $5.98, that says Super Model, a plain white tee for the inside, and then I used some white rope type string that I had from along time ago for the handles, and then I tied a bit of some gold ribbon that I got off my x-mas gift.
23  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / My Version of a tube top.... on: January 25, 2006 06:51:25 PM
Okay, so I have been sewing off and on since I was 14, so its been about 7 years or so. Anyways... I never really made anything that I wanted to wear, I have done more purses, alterations and stuff, but nothing like this, I recently saw this tute; https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=10790.0 and had to make my own little version, sorry in advance for the blurry pics, but I don't have my own digital camera, so I had to use my camera phone, so here it is;

The pink fabric, was some stretchy fabric I had lying around the black bands are from an old shirt. But anyways, let me know what you think, is it tooo plain, should I do anything else to it??
24  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / CHEETAH PILLOWS on: December 28, 2005 12:37:40 PM
I made these for my sis who is going off to college in January for her dorm room, The fabric I got in the remnant section at JoAnn Fabrics, it was a yard for $2.50. And I used some brown fabric I had laying around for the back, and then I bought some pick ribbon for $0.50/spool on sale, so, all and all I spent $3 for her pillows, she got these as a christmas present too, she really liked them, so did my older sis, she wanted some for her house, soooo when I finish those I will post them too. I used some pillows I had laying around my room, btw...  Grin, lol!!!

The pics aren't that great, but until I get some more money, to buy a digital camera that I really want, these will have to do.
