2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Gift wrap idea on: December 20, 2006 05:36:39 AM
I once had to come up with a way to wrap a ticket for my boyfriend. So, I got a variety of boxes (from very large to very small). I put the ticket in the smallest one, sealed it, then put that box in a box the next size up. I continued putting the boxes in boxes until I ended with a very large box, which I wrapped. It was quite comical watching him open each box, expecting the present to at long last be inside it!
3  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: Just getting started. Lots of earring pics and a question on: December 18, 2006 05:10:48 AM
At the local crafter/artist coop in my town there is a lady who makes and sells jewelry that is very similar to yours. She prices hers (retail) at $14.95 a pair. I bought several pairs from her to use as Christmas gifts this year, and I remember thinking that they were  inexpensive. So, to answer your question, yes, I think you are underpricing your earrings. Very nice work, just don't sell yourself short.

Yes, I have a 7-foot triangle loom. It's very easy to learn, but time-consuming. Thanks for the comments everyone!
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Earmuff/Headband Question (Loom knitting related) on: December 02, 2006 06:00:16 AM
I have the same problem. Even the tutorials I have found do not address this. I've thought of trying to run a seperate piece of yarn thru the loops (like you're closing up a hat), and then just tying it to the last loop. I don't know if that will work, but I will try and post my results.

No, but I have made ponchos for my 9 year old daughter on the purple rectangle one.

10  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: I have coarse wool weaving rug yarn to give away!!! on: November 15, 2006 07:42:16 AM
If you still have the yarn I would gladly take it. I would donate it to the local weaver's guild in my town.
