21  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: two color scarf dilemma on: December 23, 2005 12:42:31 PM
Weekend Knitting has a really nice two-color brioche stitch scarf.  Brioche stitch is really fun to do, and so pretty!  Orange and black would look great in that pattern.

I absolutely love it!  Great job.

p.s. you could totally be a hand model.  Nice nails!
23  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Holey socks--argyle and 70's basketball on: December 16, 2005 10:27:26 AM
You could also just cut off the feet of the baseball socks and use them as leg warmers.  I think that would be cute.  (Although you may have to hem them so they don't completely unravel, and that may look weird.)

*lightbulb goes on* Now that I think about it, I have the perfect yarn to just knit some baseball sock leg warmers.  Thanks for the idea  Smiley

Whitty

p.s. I third the arm warmer idea.  Agyle armwarmers sound sweet.
