Last week, while reading a post from Creature Comforts I discovered that Old Navy (of all places) was carrying a line of Charley Harper products! I was so thrilled, that I dashed out the very next day to pick up my own set of memory game cards to make gift tags. When I got back home I realized that there wasn’t really any way that I would be able to make the gift tags the same way because I don’t have a drill to make the hole (in my excitement to purchase the set I completely forgot this detail). So, I stared at the colorful box of cardboard tiles for a good fifteen minutes trying to figure out how I was going to use them, which eventually gave me the idea for this tutorial: a colorful notepad using recycled papers.

my fiance and i are creating a website which will promote handmade and vintage sellers and their goods, called paper N stitch. Phase I to this project is the paper N stitch blog, which is already up and running. Phase II, the actually website which will promote sellers and redirect back to their Etsy shop if viewers want to purchase will be done in just a couple of months.

Anyway, I would like to get some feedback (whether its harsh or kind) about paperNstitch so far. Let me know what you think, and feel free to submit your work/ shop through the submissions section as well if you like it.

alright. i am not sure how many of you have hedgehogs...but  i need some help. my skills are not up to par with most everyone on the site, so i need an easy project for my hedgehog because he has been so good lately. i was thinking about trying to make a hedgyhat or something like that, since his thats what he does with most of spare time: sleeps (and boy does he like it dark as can be under there). anyway, any suggestions on how to start this project or any other projects would be much appreciated.

i've lived in jacksonville for a year and still haven't found a group of people to get something going with. im a senior painting/drawing major at UNF. if anyone is interested let me know. i just thought it would be awesome to start a collective of artists around here, and see what happens.
