awesome stuff! I really like the toes on your socks and it looks sturdier than the toe style I currently have... Do you have a pattern or website that tells/shows you how to make that style of toe?
love the stripes Cheesy

Your piggies rock!!!  Your spunky unknamed pig is the same breed as my spunky (but named) pig Cheesy Supposedly that breed is the spunkiest of guinea pig breeds Wink Saying spunky so many times has reminded me of the show Punky Brewster from when I was a kid... You could name her Punky Tongue

Well, I think your tunnels are awesome and I am going to go home and make one for my babies!! That and a sweet homie home. Thanks for the great Idea!!

The cube homes are the best! My piggie went through all kinds of homes, using what I had around, until I adopted 2 more piggies, and the home had to get much larger Tongue  I noticed your front grids overlap.. is there a particular reason you did it?

For anyone considering this kind of house, its really the best! the shape is completely flexible, so it could be super long, and only one grid wide, or a square, or a circle really. also, the cage is collapsable, especially witht he zip ties. Its really easy to transport, which i have to do alot!

jsy_duck, i used zip ties on mine as well, and if you trim the tail off it works wonderfully, and looks better, and you dont have to worry about the piggies chewing on it Smiley

I love your toys too!

You have such cute piggies!!  I love the toys you made them, that really inspires me to make a hidey house for my piggies, possibly not looking like a present, but that is super cute! and I really love the wreath bed, does that get alot of use?
Oh how I love my piggies!
8  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Re: new years/twins birthday on: December 11, 2006 06:21:55 PM
Wow, Bailliesbagsbaubles, that 7-11 idea is really good! I wish I was turning 11... I loved Slurpys!!!! sigh. memories! Those turn-overs were pretty yummy, home-made apple and cherry turnovers would be a great cheaper, less trash way to get them. And ginger ale goes wonderfully (in my memories Wink   ) Its clear and bubbly, kind of looks like champagne.
Pirates would also be a neat one, that movie is great Cheesy If pirates plates dont work, you could use a gold theme, or black and red. sigh, i want to have a party!
9  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Dreadlocks on: November 19, 2006 11:16:24 AM
wow. alot has changed since i last read this thread. namely, naked ninja isnt commenting anymore.  i was greatful for all of her awesome tips on dread care.

well, ive done it! Tongue i hade a few random dreads towards the end of the summer and was trying to decide if i wanted a whole head. i took em out, got a cut, then decided that i did indeed want a whole head of em!!

um, it helps quite a bit that i had a 2.5 month outward bound semester in the woods and on the sea to help them get established Tongue they range in age from 1.5 to 1 month old, to not quite done yet. the past month was so busy i didnt have time to finish up the back, and i think i need someone else to do that part for me Smiley probably today or tomorrow, now that we are back home and we have too much time to deal with.

there are nuts (from a hardware store) in there, it was all i could find in gorham, nh in the middle of course Tongue i think they look almost the same as normal hair...from a distance.

im leaving on vacation tomorrow and will be visiting lots of friends and i am considering having each of them do one, and then we will see how many dreads i have when i get home...and each will have a little memory in it!

goodness, i am a cheeseball!, well, i love everyones dreads, and i cant wait til i have a full head to show!

ps, all this talk of bugs is making me squeemish and have horrible visions Tongue  meh!
