3  Re: Phobia Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by BambiKhantastic on: August 23, 2006 12:45:34 PM
Oh, I forgot about this one: Mr K likes that stuffie a lot...Here I am trying to eat his brains.

And have I mentioned how much i'm digging those earrings? The nicest thing about swaps is getting thigs you might not choose for yourself...and that you wouldn't know you would adore 'till you have them! I Wouldn't have chosen the earrings for myself, but now That I have them, I wear them ALL the time. I pair them with the infinity dress from over in the Clothing area, and I'm super-rockin'. I love you, Craftster. I love you, Teapot.

7  Re: Dreadlocks in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by BambiKhantastic on: August 21, 2006 03:30:13 PM
Alright, I finally managed to attempt taking pictures of the back of my head. I just re-tightened the roots with black rubber bands(you can see some of the stress on my scalp). I know they'll rot out, but I have such a tough time with the thread for some reason.

About my hair:
All the length is human extension. It's so processed, it dreads really easilly, and nicely. the Gal who does my hair really put a stick in my works over my wedding, and we havn't spoken since. But that has just forced me to experement more!

The bottom half is dreaded(about 3 weeks now?) the crown of my hair is undreaded human extension. The dreads are very grabby about it, so I tend to keep it ponied on it's own. WHy not dread the whole thing? I like the texture contrast, and If my hair gets any beefier, It won't fir in my helmet. Smiley

The brown dreads are my dabbling into double-ended dread extensions. Synthetic, and doubly grabby than the human. I have yet to perfect the smoothing/steaming process. The pink is all synth Braids, they hang to my butt.

Oh, and sallys Beauty sells this organic "dry shampoo" gel...and it feels AWESOME(which I think is mostly the alcohol in it, but seriously, it's hairgasm) I think I can re-create it with alcohol, Aloe, and essential oils, but it's not too expencive as-is, $5 or so.

8  Re: Share your Mess...Then let's clean it up! in Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions by BambiKhantastic on: August 16, 2006 10:21:17 PM
Original: that's a great Idea to paint the roller things! Mr.K keeps talking about taking all the pink stuff down(it was a weird teddybear room before I made it a weird circut-board room) but I hadn't even thought of paint!

Thanks for the thumbs up on my work...I have relatives in Texas! Check it in a couple of days, I did a Really sweet bonzai tree over a superlame palm tree you might like. I have to work for, like 7 days straight, so I should have a fresh batch of stuff soon. I tattoo For crafts! Hehe!

Oh, and I made myself a new motivational poster:   ::uses the new upload widget::

I have a similar one at work telling me to turn my power supply off. Cheesy

Okay!! It's Been a Week Long ordeal, But here it is!

I turned my computer/junk desk into a cuttingtable/computer desk

The platic tote/milkcrate obsession, also, my neatly-folded fabric closet:

That top milk-crate is filled with all the speedball screenprinting stuff I've Never used...Now It's an Investment. That top tote has a lid, I just grabbed the wrong size at Target. :/

Shatner doing something he's never been able to do in here...Sprawl on the floor!

I had two big eyesores that I couldn't decide what to do with. One was a box full of audiobooks I can't seem to get rid of. Problem solved when the (now-fully loaded) wire racks in the closet started to droop: Now It's a LOAD-BEARING box of audio books I can't get rid of!

And The second problem was: what do do with all the shipping crap I've got? I had it all stuffed into a box, and I couldn't justify a plastic tote for shipping supplies. Then inspiration struck:

(and yes, the phone is filed under P, right between Orwell and Preston)
To the right of that dresser was totally wasted space. It was late at night, and I couldn't be pounding nails. I was digging through the packing box, found two boxes of a size I would NEVER use...and then realised how really light packing stuff is.....

I made the little boxes into shelves by Just wedging them in there, and pressing the dresser into them. Cheesy

Okay....So I think that's enough pictures from me! I still don't know what to do with all my extra hoodies, and I just stuffed my wedding dress behind the couch!
