1  Polo with all-over doodles...by hand. Please look! :) in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by nixiecoolgirl on: April 10, 2007 08:23:32 AM
I have had the LAMEST looking plain pink polo for awhile now, so I decided to spruce it up by drawing various designs all over it w/ fabric markers.  It took me two months to finally finish (I made it back in the winter) but it was worth it.  The design represents how music can provoke ideas, art, and creativity.

I tried washing this polo in the washing machine once...BIG mistake.  Even though I heat-set the fabric markers, certain colors bled.  Luckily it wasn't too bad.  I noticed the colors that blobbed were ones that had been drying out - therefore they hadn't been saturated into the fabric and ran out.  I added a few new doodles to cover up the blobs, but I don't have pictures for those.  The inspiration for the design came from an ad for the Sansa MP3 player.

The photos aren't showing up on my computer, so I'm including a link to another site where they're posted.  I made a "highschoolmusical" (Which I absolutely HATE, by the way) fake account just for posting pics and random stuff.  Anyway.  Hope you can see the photos on this site instead. (Also, there are some pics of bermuda shorts I made from old jeans and sewed a heart onto.  And one of me and Lemony Snicket on Halloween.)

Fun fun fun! Please leave your input, I'd love to hear what you think =)  The polo is getting small on me now since it was an old polo.  What will I do with it once I grow out of it?  I'm really small for my age and wear a size 8 girls, this is like a size 6, and I don't know any six-year-olds who share my indie sense of style. *laughs*
