1  snowmen in Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects by laideebugz on: December 10, 2010 05:33:48 PM
I've been a busy bee making snowman for friends and family.

They are made completely in the hoop with a bit of stuffing and then hand sewing the bottom. Easy Peasy. They measure just under 4" tall.

The design was purchased from lynnie pinnie.

I received an amazing 2nd package from my partner Quaggy on Wednesday. I'm sorry that I'm late in posting pictures.

I just love opening presents, thank you for wrapping everything for me to open. It made me feel very special.

I unwrapped a lovely mug with a mug organizer that Quaggy made filled with sewing supplies. It's so very unique! and 2 cross stitch kits. And ladybugs on the fabric. <3

Quaggy made a fob for sewing scissors, complete with a ladybug!

Next I unwrapped a beautiful hand painted cross, purple my favorite color with gold overlay. Gorgeous!

Another beautiful cross, stunning!

And the best present yet.... a personalized cross stitch with my name and ladybugs. <3 All framed and ready to be hung in my sewing room.

I also received a tin decorated with ladybugs with buttons,1 book on crafting cards and a card making kit,  that I seemed to have missed when taking pics. I'll add then soon.

THANK YOU Quaggy! I love everything, you are an amazing friend, please keep in touch!

Quaggy enjoys a fragrant home (me too) and sent me insense. I burned some tonight. The girls and I loved it.

4  Re: Show me your sewing room setup! in Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions by laideebugz on: August 16, 2010 07:18:53 PM
WE moved into our home last year and I am VERY blessed to be able to have a sewing room all to myself.

I apologize in advance for my very messy room. I will post pics again once I have it cleaned (there are fabric scraps and thread all over the floor) and organized, maybe by Christmas. LOL.

The pics are a bit wonky too because I was holding my phone up high to try and get lots in 1 pic.

My cutting table full of 1/2 started and future projects & my cork board to help keep me on track with orders/projects

threads and notion storage and door into the closet that holds my fabric stash, pics below

the little folding table I sew/embroider on and my trust laptop close by. I like to surf while stitching.

After almost 1 year in bins, my stash is all out, sorted by fabric type and neatly away. looking from one end of the closet to the other

Looking the other way.

I received a wonderful swap package from my partner Babalina58.

A lovely apron (sorry for the using the door to model (and it's a tad fuzzy - cell pic), but I'm not photo quality right about now, LOL)

And 3 potholders, a pot handle holder and 2 towels.

I said to surprise me, and she did a fabulous job. I <3 them!  Grin

Thank you Babalina58!!  Can't wait for you to receive!!
