1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Mrs. Frizzle Style Dress on: September 29, 2013 12:16:26 PM
Hey everyone I decided that I'm going to be Mrs. Frizzle this year for halloween and I'd like to sew/recreate a dress that is fairly accurate, including the collar and long puffy sleeves. Does anyone know of any sewing patterns or online tutorials that I can check out to get me started? Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Pattern for this scarf? on: February 24, 2013 09:19:34 AM
I'm fairly new to crocheting, and maybe this is already answered on a board in this forum, but i did look..
How would i make this scarf into the triangle shape that it is. Is there a formula out there for when and how many stitches to drop per row? Any clarification would be great, thanks.
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Pattern for this scarf? on: February 19, 2013 06:12:25 PM
Does anyone know how or know of a pattern to crochet this triangle scarf? Its by Donna Perkins, and I love it but I'd like to try to make it myself.

These are my first attempts at using polymer clay in years.  I came across this board and was inspired.  Hope you like them!

Comments/criticism appreciated.
5  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: How to be a muse!? Help! on: October 07, 2007 01:44:29 PM
Try looking at these pictures for ideas.

A muse's clothing is basically a light blue toga. A wig might be a good idea because long wavy hair might portray the effect better.  A simple headband would also help.

I'm in love with that Edward Scissorhands shirt.  Would you like to relay the information of where you got the stencil?

I honestly don't remember which pic i wanted to use because it's been such a while since i've stenciled or even been on this site.  I took a stenciling hiatus, if you will.  As soon as i find the pic i was going to stencil i'll post it so maybe you guys can help.
