I'm going to try to do the invitations myself as well.  Luckily I got a few months to do those though!

Very cute!! That must have taken a lot of patience to get all the quills to line up properly.
43  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Please post your best costume... on: December 11, 2005 12:40:18 AM
A few years ago I made myself a Sailor Jupiter costume from the anime Sailor Moon.  It's definitely my favorite costume EVER, but sadly it got destroyed due to negligence.  ;P  (lost pieces, crumpled pieces, etc)

I made a tut for the costume for my old Sailormoon page which has not been updated since 2001, but the tut is still there.  Smiley

44  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Save-the-date magnets! with pictures on: December 10, 2005 10:59:11 PM
I designed some Save-the-Date magnets for my wedding in Photoshop using a picture I drew, and ordered them through vistaprint.com.  They were very reasonably priced and I think they turned out really cute! (no that's not a blob, I edited out the location Wink)

I spent a few hours this afternoon addressing and return addressing about 65 envelopes and then cutting out 65 little slips of paper with a little blurb about our wedding website on it, so now my hands are all crampy.   Tongue  I get to put them in the mail on Monday!!  This is getting exciting...

That fairy quote is from Peter Pan, I think, if anyone is interested.

Baked Yule logs are yummy!  They're a little finicky to make though, as they are French in origin.  My friend and I tried to bake one for extra credit in French class in high school and it was a disaster.  *eek*
