1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / the world of increases on: July 12, 2006 06:03:52 PM
I know of two increases: the bar increase and the m1. Earlier today I began knitting an armwarmer, no pattern in particular, in stockinette and I started using the m1 increase. Perhaps it's just me but it left a bit of a hole below which I wasn't happy about. SO I used the bar increase which... well, you know, left a little bar there. Here's my questions: 1) Do you think I was doing m1 wrong?; 2) Is there an increase out there that won't leave a trace?

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Finally! Someone's pregnant! on: January 06, 2006 10:09:47 AM
Now I have the chance to knit innumeral amounts of baby clothing/accesories. Oh man I'm so excited I could pee myself. Hmm. Perhaps I should make myself a diaper as well.  Wink

What is your favorite baby/child project?
3  Pennsylvania / Pennsylvania: Southwest / Michael's in W. Mifflin going out of buisness on: December 28, 2005 05:53:31 AM
I found out very recently that the Michael's out by Century 3 Mall is closing so everything is 50% off.
