21  Elephant plushies! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by nicegoing on: June 01, 2008 04:40:52 PM
Hey Craftsters! I'm sure some of you might recognize these. I made them using the pattern from Diana Rupp's book, SEW. The pink one is for my niece and the blue one for my little nephew.

Hope you guys like them! Comments welcome!

22  First Layered Stencil! -- LA Lakers! in Stenciling: Completed Projects by nicegoing on: May 26, 2008 09:31:58 PM
Hey craftsters! So tonight I finished my first 3-color stencil. It's the Los Angeles Lakers logo. It turned out a lot better than I thought it would, although it required tons of touching up after the main stenciling was done, but it was worth it. . Grin

Don't mind the mess or the sun burn..

Close-up (paint is still wet, that's why it's glisteny..)

Thanks for looking, comments always appreciated! Kiss

23  Another Elvis Purse! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by nicegoing on: May 20, 2008 06:34:27 PM
Hey Craftsters! I made this purse for my Spanish teacher who's been teaching for 40 years and is retiring. She loves Elvis and I hope she loves this bag too. Enjoy!

The whole bag, excuse my not-so-professional photos.

Close-up of the fabric and ribbon trim.

Inside of the bag, shows the two pockets.

Shows the key-finder.

Thanks everyone for looking! Kiss

Hello Craftsters! I've just completed my first successful hoodie thanks to gnacissej's wonderfully helpful tutorial (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=177602.0). I lined it with flannel so it's extremely cozy. I'm so proud of it, I don't think I'll ever take it off. Cheesy

Here it is!

Woo! Thank you for looking, I'd love to hear your comments! Kiss

Hi! I just made my first banner today.. I used Photoshop, it took me forever to figure everything out. But I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
