1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Fall Wedding on: September 13, 2013 10:25:07 AM
I just got engaged this past week! Let the planning begin!

I was wondering if anyone else was planning for a fall wedding and or has had one? This is an awesome and stressful time for you both! Maybe we can gain some sanity...

Post your favorite DIY projects, inspiration, where to find supplies or questions on how to make that center piece just the way you'd like it. Maybe if we get enough people we can do a swap in the near future!

2  Oregon / Oregon: Northwest / Moving to Hillsboro, OR! Crafty In-site Please! on: June 07, 2013 02:55:39 PM
Cheesy Hey everyone! I am relocating out to Hillsboro in August and was wondering if anyone has a favorite craft store that isn't a chain and if there are any public friendly places to do crafts. I also was interested in any craft clubs, venues, fairs, bazaars, etc. in the surrounding areas. Thank you!

p.s. On a odd side note if anyone knows about the local LadyHawks Roller Derby I would love to know more,

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Crayon Totes on: December 11, 2010 10:01:26 PM
I made a few totes for my friends kids and my cousin's daughter. I only have pictures of two of them...I made two for a girl at work for her grandkids too, but didn't take a pic  Roll Eyes The others ones had longer sholder straps and a fabric velcro closure. I embleished more with iron on initials that i bought for only .20 a piece!

didn't sew up the sides yet

I found the tute on here http://fromanigloo.blogspot.com/2010/02/art-bag-tutorial.html

Petal Ballgown Skirt

Holiday Apron..Mrs's Clause, etc.

Little Red Riding Hood

I also have to make a Magician's Cape and maybe a small hat with a felt stuffie bunny. I have purple lining i could use to make a dress too. Oh and a felt crown....how many more days till Christmas?? lol

Thanks for the help and if you have any other pics/ suggestions feel free!

9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Hula Hoop Your Stress Away! on: May 19, 2010 04:58:56 PM
As an adult child it's hard to find a hula hoop to stay up on the hips. I made this last year during the summer. It's made from irrigation tubing and male coupling from Lowe's, gorilla ductape, reg purple ductape, and a stove. Sorry there is no action pics; it's been sitting inside all winter.
