31  First Embroidery Help in Needlework: Discussion and Questions by ChrissyCrafts on: May 19, 2010 04:47:30 PM
Making Christmas present way ahead this year. I started with having the pattern stretched over the fabric ( fleece scarf) and going over and making an outline. I'm filling in here and there, but should I satin stitch the deer too? Or would it be too much?

32  Hot, Hot, Hot! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by ChrissyCrafts on: May 19, 2010 04:38:16 PM
I been on a crafting kick lately. I found a pattern i never touched and decided to finally make a set. The pepper fabric was scrap i had from a Christmas stocking i made, black quilted fabric, and the orange strip fabric i had left over from my first quilt. The interior has heat resistant sandwiched in between too.

33  First Quilt I Ever Made in Quilting: Completed Projects by ChrissyCrafts on: May 19, 2010 04:22:30 PM
I been on here a long time and haven't posted much, but it's never to late! I took on learning to quilt these past couple of months. So here is my first quilt I've made!

It's 38"x 30" didn't really have a pattern, was just inspired to make a quilt finally. Orange, brown pattern, and binding are cotton and the green with owls is flannel. The batting is the natural cotton (?) Made my own binding and had a Huge trouble with the corners! For the first one it's not too bad. C&C welcome.
