1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Operation Craftster on: December 11, 2005 09:55:36 AM
I've had a wee bit of a brainwave, in my school theres something called "Operation Christmas Child" where we fill a shoe box full of goodies and send it to the unfortunate. I had an idea of "Operation Craftster", where you do the same but full of craft stuff and made goodies. Then i came on here and read a post concerning chrismas presents and realised i was kinda stealing that idea. I do apologise. But if anyone would be willing to give this ago after christmas, so we have time to collect up things and other shiznit please reply to this message. If there is enough people interested in it everyone could give a box and recieve one the more you give the more you recieve. Looking forward to your replies. so long and goodnight . Kayleigh

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Complete Novice on Big Venture!! on: November 28, 2005 11:48:22 AM
[img]Im one of them ever self announced "newbies" as I believe we're called and i'd like to try something maybe a bit to ambitious - I want to make a dress thats kinda 50s style. Im wondering would it work if I made a circle skirt and attatched it to a sort of boob tube and add straps ? I hope to decorate it with a waist sash and maybe bows on the straps. Ill leave it to the experts to help me ! thanks !I'd also like to know how to post a picture lol sorry for being a pain !     Kiss Wink
