That sweater is gorgeous! I too would be interested in a translation.   Grin
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Pattern for this scarf [eternity shawl/scarf] on: February 23, 2007 09:39:28 AM
I really want to make one of these.  What about adapting a cowl pattern like this or this or some other lacy neckwarmer pattern but cast on a TON (as long as you want it to be) more on long circulars.  Any opinions?
4  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Twinkle's Big City Knits Book Knitalong on: February 23, 2007 09:33:01 AM
I think I'll be getting the book soon, but I probably wouldn't start a project for a month or so.  But I am looking forward to seeing everyone else's projects!

How did you all seam this up?  I have only done matress stitch on plain stockinette and I am at a total loss on how to go about seaming this one!  I finished mine a week or so ago and am dying to wear it! HELP, please!

TIA.

Hope this helps!

Looks good.   I am a little over halfway through mine.  It took me  a little bit to get used to, but now I find the pattern fascinating to do.   Grin
10  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: New Knitty's Calorimetry on: February 11, 2007 08:53:14 PM
Yay! I finished.  Just need to put a button on it!  I ended up just doing the short rows without a wrap, but I did find this which explains how to do invisible short rows in ribbing and how to avoid having the double wraps.
