1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / My first stuffie on: March 04, 2006 08:37:04 AM
Ok..the question is, if you were a 5 year old girl would you like this or would it scare you? I made it for my guy's granddaughter. Is it good enough? You won't hurt my feelings. It's my first time making anything like it so we could just call it the beta model.  Grin

Here's his front:
and here's his back with the little flower on his hiney:
and here he is looking at his feet that I might attach; we're in negotiations:
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Reagan (my cat) and I model my scarf on: January 17, 2006 08:21:37 AM
It's not my first, it's my second but it's the first one I'm actually proud of. The first one was just a plain black knitted one that was too short because I became impatient. This is also just knitted but I love the "kiss" yarn. It is so soft. My husband said that my cat thought I was knitting her a sister. hehe

Here we are:

I know it's just a simple thing but it's a big deal to me.   Cheesy
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / First purse ...made from a blazer on: January 03, 2006 11:17:36 AM
This was a big boxy heavily shoulder-padded blazer that was too big on me. My original idea was to cut it down in to a shorter jacket with smaller pockets and no shoulder pads but it just looked weird. So, I did what anyone else would do...I made a purse. I used the lining that was in the jacket as the liner for the purse, but it didn't work in some places. This would explain why there are pictures of only the outside.  Wink It's made from the two bottom corners that come together when you button the blazer. I basically cut them off and sewed them together.  The handle is made from the jacket collar. I had fun making it and it at least looks better as a purse than it did as a jacket.

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / dishtowel+curtains=apron on: December 31, 2005 10:26:44 AM
I wanted to make this for the sole purpose of putting tie pockets on the front but now I'm not sure I'm going to because it's so small. I'm going to try to do a bit bigger one. Maybe I'll measure and stuff next time.  Roll Eyes

5  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Another excuse..er...use for marble goodness on: December 14, 2005 09:11:19 AM
Drawer pulls! My house is so flippin dark it's hard to get a picture...and my cat kept swiping the knob before I could get a pic. Almost caught her on camera.  Grin Anyway, these were the best pics I could come up with.
and this is the oh-so-innocent-looking-pinup-kitty who kept taking my knob:
