21  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Ice Cream Bag? or Conical cutie you decide on: February 18, 2007 02:55:43 PM
Adorable! Hehe I don't know that much about ren faires (though i was at one once and loved it), but the first thing I thought when I saw that was "how adorable would that be as an orange and green carrot?"

Anyway, that's lovely, and i'm sure they'll sell wonderfully!

23  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: So does everyone finish their seams? on: February 17, 2007 12:34:47 PM
I am generally pretty meticulous about my seams. I prefer the french seam, so that all raw edges are enclosed, or flat felled, if I want to add a little bit of interest.

Though lately I've had a slight obsession with bias binding. Cheesy

I'm new to the whole clothing thing. Would you mind explaining?  Lips sealed

I'd tend to agree with jim - I think a line of a different color at the bottom would help, or if you can patch it with a design (a polka dot? a flower?) and add a few more on the top or bottoms of the curtains to make it fit, that would work as well Smiley
