4  Re: Extra Stitches, where are they coming from???? in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by lhackett on: April 14, 2006 06:07:32 PM
Ok, I'm pretty much having the same problem...

My problem really is that I'm confused about going from the knit stitch to the purl stitch, because I keep ending up with these extra stitches that are like little crosses...  Huh
are you supposed to bring the yarn from the back of the needle to the front and then purl? and then put the yarn in the back of the needle again and then knit?

so I think I figured it out, I have to do this, right?

Sorry if this is like waaay beginner.. I looked at the website, but I couldn't find anything about going from knit to purl.

Thanks to whoever can help! Grin Grin Grin

She made a big wine bottle stuffy (that has Lindsay Winery embroidered on it)

then a bottle opener magnet, some champagne bubbles, a kitchen set with a pot holder, a hand towel and a wine bottle "carrying case" (long strap attached), another magnet and cheese markers!

and my FAV!

thanks so much gebah, i love it all!!!

My friend is infamous of taking photos of her self on other people's camera. They always make me laugh, so I put them all together on a layout to look like a strip of negatives...
(I had to take the pics w/my camera phone)
