2  ****Needlecraft Art Show**** in Needlework: Completed Projects by microrevolt on: May 13, 2005 02:51:22 AM
HI! I needlepointed this sign on plastic canvas to call for your participation in a show of needlecraft art!

The show is of x-stitch and embroidery with patterns generated from knitPro... KnitPro is a *FREE* web application that translates digital images into cross-stitch, crochet and needlepoint graph patterns so you can have graphics in your needlecraft.
Visit www.microrevolt.org/knitPro to participate and use the free app! t h a n k s all, keep stitching...

3  coffee bags + silk screen frame = closet doors in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by microrevolt on: September 28, 2004 12:00:52 AM

I had a collection of burlap coffee bean bags and some old silk screen frames in my messy closets that have no doors. I decided it would be cool to put hinges on the silk screen frame and stretch the burlap for doors. What'dya think?

burlap coffee bean bag, large frame, hinges, staple gun, screws and drill

this is my first afghan! i'm a video artist so i LOVE color bars!
my great grandmother used to make granny squares afghans so this is my spin on it...

i followed this pattern but i didn't change yarn colors within the square:

Start with a, 5 ch , join in first ch.
1. *3 dc in lp, 2 ch*; Repeat * to * 4 times ; join B in initial st
2. *(3dc, 2ch, 3 dc) = corner in next sp, 1 ch*; Repeat * to * 4 times ; join C in initial st
3. *3 dc in next sp, 1 ch, corner in corner, 1 ch* ; Repeat * to * 4 times ; join A in initial st
4. *(3 dc in next sp, 1 ch) twice, corner in corner sp, 1 ch*; Repeat * to * 4 times ; join B in initial st
5. *(3 dc in next sp, 1 ch) 3 times, corner in corner sp, 1 ch*; Repeat * to * 4 times ; join thread in initial st. Cut, weave in ends
