1  EUROPE / ITALY / Pavia/Milan craft stores? on: September 02, 2007 08:54:54 AM
I've been wondering if anyone would know either a, a place where to get cheap-ish wool or b, a big crafts store, or something, in either Milan or Pavia.

Thanks in advance!  Grin

Oh! That's lovely!
I really like the beads. And the pink. That, too. *g*

Maybe stuff it, and turn it into a snake monster thing?

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Tunisian Crochet Purse on: August 29, 2006 02:00:50 PM
I'm a little faster doing normal crochet.
Tunisian seems to me, at least, something that you don't have to pay as much attention to, whereas when I crochet normally, I have to keep my eyes on the work more frequently, and perhaps longer.
On the other hand, Tunisian is slightly more boring to work, imho.

Thanks for all the kind words. Y'all are making me grin quite a bit. Smiley

xxPunkxxWorksxx, you totally should try. *grins* Definitely easier than 'normal' crochet, imho.

abbynormal, I pretty much made it up as I went along, yeah. Usually do. I'm one of these people who have no idea what they're making until they're finished with it. *grins*

I basically just made one huge gray rectangle (36 st wide, with a 3.5 mm hook, if you must now). Then I crocheted the handle, which was looking like one extremely skinny scarf, sewed the outsides together (if that makes sense) and sewed it on my rectangle.

Then I made the flower, and the skull thing, sewed them onto pins, and...

... voila, purse. Hope that was informative, and such.
