1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / PUPPY!!! on: January 11, 2006 03:59:51 AM
i made this puppy for my bf to cuddle while i'm gone on a trip overseas. the material is left over from my other project, domokun beanbag, also made for him.

my first time ever making a toy from a template i drew up from scracth. well REAL first time since my other plushies were squared or rectanglar.

the bottom of the puppy is light brown felt, and so is the under side of the ears.
i'm giving it to him tomorrow and cant wait for him to name it!!!

BOO!!! its eyes look retarded..... Tongue
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / safety pin thingy on: January 10, 2006 04:31:14 AM
i tried making one of those kilt pin things with little ornaments dangling from it and u pin it to a plain shirt or jersey or whatever to jazz up ur outfit.

except....mine doesnt dangle and sway about and its a safety pin rather then a kilt pin.

but bleah i still like it Cheesy

the white bits is just PVA glue drying...... i was too excited abt taking a photo of it Tongue

anyone else made any??
3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / ribbon dragonfly on: January 08, 2006 09:15:49 PM
so i made some ribbon dragonflies...... its called a dragonfly cos the 'folds' look like those on a dragonfly's body, and i wrapped them up nicely, and i'm thinking of selling them. what do you guys think is a good price?

it can be an ornament to hang somewhere, but it is actually a keyring (although i did not include it in the picture). the ring is attached to the loop at the top. the ribbon dragonfly in the picture is pale yellow and baby pink with a gold trim. the whole thing from the bottom tail to the top loop excluding the keyring, is 10cm.

here are 2 smaller ones, 8cm top loop to bottom tail
baby green and dark green on left, and blue and purple on right.

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / cute crystal beaded animals on: December 28, 2005 02:35:51 PM
mum's close friend ann made these lovely mobile phone ties and gave them to me. i'm posting them here to show them off cos they look really awesome!!!! i think she made her own 'pattern' or something i dare not ask her for it cos i think she sells them or something.

2 cute dogs and a pig

close up of pig

hello kitty with 2 purple bells.

they are kinda heavy for mobile phone ties because its real crystal beads. there are plastic look-alike beads that are way lighter but havent got that much sparkle i think. i'd love to learn how to make them but cant find any sites on the internet or any books at the store that have the instructions for this type of beading.

but dont they look cool?! they are all 3D Cheesy
5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / owls n monkey on: December 28, 2005 02:22:41 PM

this little fella's name is oreo. he's only about 3-4cm tall made out of remaining fabric from my other projects and cushion fabric. he was really lonley....so i made him a female friend.

she's 7cm tall. she doesnt have a name but so far my friend's given her a nickname, cockeyed. shes made out of old pair of jeans n some cushion fabric. used the tut from https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=10382.msg107585#msg107585  but i dont think it looks half as nice as all the other owls ppl've posted on crafster lol.

now let me show off my 1st sock monkey!!! hehehe i used a pair of children's long socks that i bought from the dollar store, stuffed it with old socks, buttons for eyes.

him sitting here alone. somehow my bf decided to name him LUFFY but pronounced as LOOFY. hehehe  Roll Eyes
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / bored so i painted my singlets on: December 13, 2005 03:25:52 AM
i bought these 2 white singlets (boy singlets... cos its cheaper then normal singlets, 2 for $7) about a year ago with the intention to paint stuff on it... well ok so a year passed and i finally got down to it.

i got the idea from that piece of translucent paper with gold hearts shown on the singlet, at the bottom of the pic.

and then i was lazy to get paint of a different colour so i used red..... this time for a butterfly

the word up there says 'FLUTTER' lol.....
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / cute keyring on: December 12, 2005 03:55:22 AM
this is my first pretty beaded thing apart from my beaded animals which i got instructions off a kit.

i think its real cute and i'm really happy with it hehehe. my bf said i could fit coins for parking in there, but i dont have a way of closing it to keep the coins in..... any ideas would be appreciated!!! hehe

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / animal key rings on: December 12, 2005 01:19:14 AM
well u cant really say i made-made them... cos i bought a kit

unfortunately the beads that came in the kit were missing a couple a beads in certain colours, so i kinda had to improvise, well just a little. in the end i was left with 8 pearl coloured beads.

my bf named the goose godi, the cow, cowabanga (LOL HOW CUTE IS THAT) and the duck, ducko.
9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / sakura bag on: December 08, 2005 05:11:14 AM
i think this goes in this topic....  Tongue

really old bag that i got as a gift when i was 12 yrs old. plain bluey greeny bag with the word "PARIS" at the bottom right in white print. did not take a pic b4 i started 'working on it'  Embarrassed

but here is my 'new' bag after 20 mins of cutting and pasting felt sakura flowers. i reckon it'd look better with more flowers on the branches but i'm too lazy to cut more. i'm glad i covered up the "PARIS", it looks so much better now.

10  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / mini domokun beanbag on: December 07, 2005 07:50:26 PM
this is for my bf for christmas, since he loves domokuns so much..... i decided to make a big one for him although i have previously already made him a 15cm tall felt domokun  https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=64936.0

so here are the pics....

lol he's a cube..... 30cmX30cmX30cm cube. stuffed with my bf's old tshirt that i was wearing as my PJs, and 25litres of little styrofoam balls meant for bean bags.

and here on my bed with his friends...... b4 i'm giving him away....

i actually wanted him to be a cube...like a hard cube, but foam that size would cost $30-$40...., and foam chips... well they are expensive for rubbish foam. so i bought the bean bag stuffing things. it actually turned out quite nice and huggable Smiley

i hope he likes it.
