1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Ironing/Steaming Flowers on Wedding dress - HELP...10 MORE DAYS on: May 17, 2006 07:43:26 AM
Help me please.

On the bodice of my wedding dress I have flowers and their edges are curling over. I tried to steam them and it was so hard, and I burned my fingers over and over again. I bought some starch spray and thought about using my flat iron on a low setting with the starch to straighten them out and keep them that way.

What do you think? I don't know what material they are. They are pretty see thru, and do have some sequins in the middle of them. All the edges are curling and it doesn't look that great to me.

I'm getting married in 10 days, so any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

i know it looks like rice krispie treats, everyone said that. it's actually just a funfetti cake mix. but once i poured the glaze on, it changed the whole texture, it made it soooo moist. it was really good!

I got the idea from FamilyFun magazine, Dec's issue. Everyone loved it, except wouldn't eat it because they didn't want to mess it up, so I ended up leaving half of it at my ma's house xmas eve and taking the top half home for my kids to eat.
