12  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Spring Fling Swap on: May 26, 2005 07:17:41 AM
hi, I didn't see any thread to this swap, so I make one.
Anyway, I got my package from tabarhodes yesterday.
She sent me: multicolor small purse (I think it's crotcheted using fleece yarn?), cards and envelopes, refrigerator magnet, pin, 3 pairs of earrings, flower woods (I'm not sure what it's called), magic towel.

I think that's it.  Did I miss something tabarhodes?
Anyway, I love them all.  My fave is the bag and the earrings.
Oh, thanks so much for the magic towel.  I've always want to buy it, but my mom won't let me  Embarrassed

I don't have digi cam, so I can't take pictures of these.

14  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Running bar when using dpns? on: February 18, 2005 08:30:47 AM
Hi guys,

I made a leg warmer yesterday using dpns.  It came out ok, except the area where I connected the two dpn, there's a running/ladder bar (the stitches are not joined tightly?).  Hopefully you can understand what I'm referring to.
Does anybody have the same problem?  How do you fix it?
15  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Cheap 100% wool, merino, etc yarn on: February 14, 2005 09:26:42 AM

I just found a website that sell very cheap yarns

They sell 100% merino yarn at $2.29/ball !  And if you spend more than $30, the shipping is free

I'm not affiliated with them, just want to share the news.
Sorry if I post this at the wrong place, I didn't know where to post it.  You are welcomed to move it, Leah

17  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Scarf/headband/belt thing on: January 07, 2005 11:08:18 AM
So I needed to make an unplanned gift to my friend this christmas.  And I found this beautiful yarn Jewel FX, at my lys.  I decided to make her a belt, but it was versatile enough to be used as belt, headband, and scarf.

18  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Sophie Bag on: January 07, 2005 11:00:25 AM
Hi all, I made the bag for my mum's christmas present.

I knitted the bag using cascade 220.  It used about 1.5 skeins. The bag pattern is free at magknits.com
And the flower pattern is from onmymind.blogdrive.com

Hope you like

The drop 2 pullover is the hardest thing that I've ever knit so far.  I made it for my mom, but I think I made it too small   Embarrassed

20  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Cozy from knitty on: November 16, 2004 10:59:26 AM
This is my version of cozy from knitty.  I used 1 strand of orange cotton yarn and 1 strand of lime green held together.  This is my first lace knit.  And it didn't turn out as good as I wanted it to be.  Oh well.
