N A662

It's in French though, but it has that same hemline.

Yours just looks like a raglan increase.
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Knitting my first sweater, need some help on the decreasing? on: January 28, 2010 11:15:10 PM
If you have stopped after doing round 1, you now need to just knit for rounds 2,3,and 4.

Once you've done that, do Round 1 with the decreases.  Then 2,3,and 4 (which is all knit) three times.

Then you just knit for an inch.

So, you're doing

Round 1 (you stopped here)
Round 2
Round 3
Round 4
Round 1
Round 2
Round 3
Round 4
Round 1
Round 2
Round 3
Round 4
Round 1
Round 2
Round 3
Round 4
and then knit for an inch.

In total you are decreasing 4 times.

I've got the poster on my kitchen wall and I have to say...

When I grow up, I wanna be you!!!

That is some serious chart-reading skill, there!  I don't know how you can keep it all straight.

Well, that is why you are awesome and I am not.

Truly, desperation is the Mother of Invention not inspiration!! Wink I've done several rows and they work great.

I've never been able to figure out how to post. Can anyone give me instructions?  I'd be happy to post some. [runs to get camera]

Hope this works:

sorry for bad phone camera photos, my real camera battery was dead.  But I think this gives you an idea.

Thanks R3n331 for the PM instructions for photobucket!!!!!
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Zip Tie Stitch Markers [now with pictures] on: November 24, 2007 11:06:35 AM
I just started the "Fitted Knits" Elizabeth Bennet cabled cardigan and couldn't find any stitch markers.  In desperation, I took different colored zip-ties, put them around my needle, and pulled the flat ends until they closed around the needle but still had the slightest give.  Then I clipped off the long end and voila!  A stitch marker.

I have to listen to audiobooks - Harry Potter, the Amelia Peabody series, the Mary Russell series, classics, anything.  Thank God for Audible.
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: I have lost my (knitting) mojo... on: June 09, 2007 06:38:16 PM
I'm there right now.  After weeks of looking at my magazines, books and e-patterns, nothing is grabbing my fancy.  So rather than stare at all of it and getting frustrated and feeling guilty because I've got all this yarn I'm not using, I've packed it all away until I'm ready to knit again.

It's comforting to know other knitters are in the same situation.
