1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Raised Heart Purse on: February 19, 2010 10:21:22 AM
I've been playing with raised stitches for awhile and came up with this purse.

You can find the pattern  here http://tutorials.donnascrochetdesigns.com/raised-stitsch-hearts-purse-free-crochet-pattern.html

And if you don't know how to make a front post double crochet (Fpdc) or back post double crochet (Bpdc) there is a photo tutorial here http://tutorials.donnascrochetdesigns.com/photo-tutorial-on-front-post-double-crochet-and-back-post-double-crochet.html

I hope you like it!
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Maize and Bead Necklace on: August 23, 2008 10:50:39 AM

Just thought I'd share my latest project.  I had leftover beads from another project and wanted to use them up before they got lost in the bottom of my supply bin.  (Don't you just hate it when that happens?)
Anyway it is super easy to make and you can find the pattern http://www.freepatternsdonnascrochetdesigns.com/page183.html here if anyone is interested!
3  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Out Of This World Dog with pattern link on: August 20, 2008 11:04:14 AM

Here is another of my designs using slinkies.  I call it Out Of This World Dog or OTWD for short!  I had thought of calling him Alien Dog from Mars, but didn't like that one as well as OTWD.
http://www.donnascrochetdesigns.com/page428.html   Here is where you can find the pattern.
I haven't decided yet if I'm going to make it part of my free pattern website.  Right now you can only axcess it though this link.
4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Marshmallow Moneky on: August 20, 2008 10:55:41 AM

Here is my all time favorite slinky project: Marshmallow Monkey.
He's got an all over loop texture to give him that fluffy mashmallow-ish look.  Best of all he's got slinky arms and legs.
I got the idea to make him one day when I was watching Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends cartoon.  They had soemthing like the body, but with about 20 tiny legs!
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Crocheting with plastic springs on: April 07, 2008 08:34:35 AM

I love finding new things to incorporate into my designs and came up with plastic springs.
Sorry for posting the cover, but whenever I tried to post more than one photo the first one disappeared on me and at least the cover has a photo of four different projects!
You can find photos of all the projects, 14 in all on my site.
I think my favorite is the doll with plastic springs for her hair.
I'm so proud I actually got this done that I just wanted to share!
Thanks for taking a look!
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Square Striped Tote on: March 20, 2008 02:24:36 PM
I'm really pleased with the way this one turned out.  I love the way the stripes make the patterns.
If anyone is interested in the pattern I've posted it on my free pattern website http://freepatternsdonnascrochetdesigns.com/page83.html
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Double Pearl Bracelet Pattern Link on: December 04, 2007 11:04:00 AM

Just thought I'd show off one of my latest.  I love to crochet with beads and came up with this.  The pattern is  here http://www.freepatternsdonnascrochetdesigns.com/page166.html if anyone is interested. I used velco to fasten it because I had it on hand.  I think a trip down the jewelry isle would have provided a better fastener.
8  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Vintage Cat on: September 10, 2007 08:05:01 AM

I saw this cat at: http://www.omertacode.com/crochet/cat.html and was intrigued enough to make it.  The pattern is written in what I call headache crochet (written in the barest of words) so I had to write it out myself to understand it.  So you know I really liked the pattern to do that!
I used thread instead of yarn the pattern called for and the cat is only 4-1\2".  I was hoping it would come out smaller.  I'm thinking of tracking down more vintage animal patterns and starting a collection.  Anyone out there know of some patterns?
