1  Re: hardcover notebook in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by SoHollywood on: May 28, 2004 02:34:42 PM
Here's a few pages from the journal I made, based of this idea.

The last one had pictures of things I made all wrapped up. The journal was a gift for a friend of mine who loves to write. She adores the journal.

2  pleated skirt from men's dress shirt. in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by SoHollywood on: May 16, 2004 06:29:26 PM
Inspired by speeedkills https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=5789.0 I stopped at Goodwill this afternoon and picked up a couple mens' button down shirts. At $2.50 a piece, I wasn't complaining. With and idea in my head, I just started cutting and sewing away (a real flaw in the way I do things).
This was my first attempt, sort of a trial, and I love the way it came out. Within the next week, I'll work on a white version, and add a tutorial. Anyways, I hope you like it, and I'll get that tutorial up asap!

Such, such, such a good idea. I'm going to do something like it tonight... but I'm hoping to make it look like this(generally speaking, I just want the pleated part and top band to be similar to this.):

We'll see how it turns out, thanks for the inspiration!

4  Strawberry Shortcake, maybe. [tutorial added] in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by SoHollywood on: April 25, 2004 06:08:47 PM
I finished this shirt for my cousin today. And I wish I had a tutorial to share, but I'm not organized like that. I just started cutting and sewing, really.
Anyhow, perhaps you can come up with your own something like it. I hope you like it.  Smiley

(The bottom reads "Start each day in a happy way!")

And one of Fallon striking a pose, sort of.

5  Re:Reemember pogs?! in What the heck can I do with THIS? by SoHollywood on: March 30, 2004 04:13:22 PM
I wish I had kept my pogs.
A friend of mine made me this with some of hers:

She simply punched holes in them and strung them onto a metal ring along with some pop can tabs.
I love it.

Those are awesome!
I want this on a shirt:

How exactly did you go about doing yours?

Here's my version:

I picked up a Strawberry Shortcake sheet at a thrift store last weekend, and sort of made a copy of another dress I had.  Smiley

I loved this idea!

8  Gigantic Mickey shirt = Snazzy top in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by SoHollywood on: March 20, 2004 06:51:06 PM
I bought a very, very large Mickey Mouse shirt last time I was at Goodwill. I knew I could do something with it.
