The book is a book of cards with cool info on Brittish Columbia!  They are really fun.

Here is an overview of all the cards inside the album. Each card represents something and then has further discription and or facts on the back of the greeting card.  Smiley

PS. Kim... I tried sooooo hard not to dive into the saltwater taffies but no luck... they are soooo yummy! teehee.  Wink

Got my (Utah - Salt Lake City) package from mub today, here it is....

The bag she made is just adorable (Utah is the 'Beehive' State), I will def be using it today when I go out....and the bonus is blue is my favourite. The inside is lined with the same bee fabric as the bookmark you see in the picture.. its so awesome. The bee on the bag is a pin, pretty cool. I was in Kelowna just a few weeks ago (ok, maybe its a month by now) and I was introduced to salt water taffies... and have been addicted to them... and of all things... what is in that cute little jar?Huh None other then ... tada.. locally made salt water taffies!!!!!!!!!!!  Grin so excited!!! Mub also made a cd of a couple of songs of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir who are base by her home. Mom and I already listend to them, they are really good! Oh and cant forget the the UT stickers!!!  Grin I love stickers!!!!

Thanks so much Kim!!!

I guess all we are now waiting for is Kim to post her things. If you need Kim, I took picts before I mailed it out, I can always post for you?? Up to you!! Smiley But I do know she has gotten it, and really like what I sent.... thats always a good thing teehee

Thanks so much to FrenchKitty for putting this swap together!! It was alot of fun!!

3  wrapping in Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions by mcc on: May 12, 2006 01:35:56 AM
OK, so I did a search and I couldn't come up with anything to answer my question. I have this Citrine stone ....

(sorry pictures aren't very good, much prettier then the picture)

... nothing fancy I know, but it is kinda special to me (I had given it to my grandmother when I was younger, along with a much larger one, and I got it back when she passed away in Jan of '97 and I have had it laying around since and really do not want to loose it) and I really want to make it into a pendant. It doesn't have to be anything fancy... just a simple wire wrap. However my problem is... I don't know how to wire wrap!!! I have tried to find simple instructions ect. but can't seem to find anything of the sort.

Can anyone help me out here?Huh Would be greatly appreciated!!!  Grin

Thanks so much!!

4  Re: My First Polymer Clay Projects!!! (IMG Heavy) in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by mcc on: April 30, 2006 02:57:07 PM
I had always wanted to try polymer, so I made a baby gift as my first project.. a little keepsake box... I'm sure if I had the patience I would make another project but this may be my only one.. atleast for now... my friend loved it though when she opened it at her baby shower...

Just a wooden box and I lined it with an ivory felt and painted the inside lid rim black.

6  Re: My new "Wristlet Wallet" design :) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by mcc on: April 28, 2006 02:29:05 PM
I tried to look for a picture online for you but Bentley doesnt have it listed...

mcc - I'm trying to think of a way to incorporate a place for the cell phone as well, I'll post picture when I'll come up with a new design.

Well, I gave in and went back to Bentley and bought the cell phone change purse and when I got there I found out the just rec'd a blue camouflage one which was a bit better then the green so I said what the heck and I bought it. Down the road if I feel the need to I can try and see if dyeing it will work  but I thought I would take some pictures so you can visually see what I was talking about...
