Genius!  The colors look great with the white mug, too.  I have white mugs that could greatly benefit from some colorful coasters like these.  Thank you for posting them!!

...so if you had kids, your skills would rub off on them?  SIGN ME UP!!!
I love the green with the brown behind the shelves, love the sofa/loveseat find, love everything.  I don't know the book that you mentioned, but the wirework tells a story all by itself- I literally started at that picture for a good solid minute just taking it all of the work you must have put into it.  Really really really great job.
We just moved into a house painted beige with white trim- perfectly blank canvas.  Your house looks like HOME- CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!   Grin  I'm so impressed!

Wow that's huge!  What size hook did you use?
14  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Safety Orange Scarf - My first crochet! on: December 22, 2008 09:19:31 AM
I like the orange- very bright and warm.   Smiley  Great job!
If you want a more stripey appearance, you could use your same pattern but instead of crocheting under both parts of the "v" you would put your hook right into the middle of the "v" and crochet only under the back loop every time.  This way, when you flip your work over to do the next row, keep crocheting into those back loops and you'll get a ridged effect.

Fantastic scarf!  I love the button idea.  Very clever.
Great collage, too- your friend is going to LOVE this!!

17  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Toddler Stocking Cap (not in the round) on: November 26, 2008 09:04:25 AM
Thank you!!  I've been wondering if I could make a crocheted hat that looked like this, and now I see both of yours and know I can.  Time to log off and crochet!  Will post pics when I'm done.  Thank you again!   Grin

LOVELY!!  Lovely pattern, great work, and I like the photo with the light coming through the piece as well.  Great job.
19  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Colorful Circles Afghan (1st BIG project Ever Completed) on: November 12, 2008 06:19:23 PM
WOW.  Gorgeous!  I also love your color choices with the brown.  Great pattern and well done.  I get too sidetracked by my little projects to finish my medium ones, much less a big one like this.  You've inspired me to stick with it and try an afghan!
20  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: 7 costumes, 2 days, $52 on: November 02, 2008 05:47:58 PM
This is WONDERFUL!!!  My favorite part is the hats- I was wondering how you could get fleece to stand up like that; thanks for the interfacing secret!  I agree with the poster who mentioned this being a group costume you could add on to later.  What a great idea, and kudos on your speed!
