I think my keeper is about 10" x 10".

I really like the idea of incorporating a ice pack somehow.......

Great ideas everyone!

Yup - I got the "fabric" in the remnants section. Looked like it came by the yard usually and possibly for rain coats?

Those are really great ideas Kewlchik. I was thinking of painting the upper portion of the walls red too.

As for a tute, this will be really quick 'cause I don't have cute hand drawn illustrations. Maybe I'll add later.

I used a plain old every day white cloth shower curtain and pinned it up on a wall. I got a pretty cheap artists projector off of ebay. Printed out a picture of Che that I liked and was most like the iconic ones that are everywhere. Placed picture under projector. Projected image onto the shower curtain and traced it. There was some finageling with the projector and trying to get it the right hight and getting all of the image on to the curtain. Lots of books were involved. Then I just used acyclic paint and filled in the outline. Let it dry and voila!

Thanks!

I saw a wristlet or wallet or something with owls on it somewhere on here. I can't seem to find it any more. I think it got buried.

I liked the design so much that I put it on the tote.

That's great! I've been eyeing that book for a while now.
I love the color.

Inspired by the awesome owl related posts lying around here on craftster, I made a friend a tote-bag with a little owl.

I sewed the tote out of canvas and used fabric glue for the owl and sewed on buttons for the eyes.
Sorry for the fuzzy pictures.

Thanks for looking!.

Thanks all.
Though, I think he gets a little lonely. I was thinking of trying to find some black and white photographs of Cuba or Argentina to add to the decor and flavor of the space.

It wraps up pretty snug so I haven't experienced dry crust. And I usually make my sandwiches in the morning before I leave for work so its not that long before lunch...so yeah no dry crust here!

I guess this is the best place for this post.

I wanted to make something that I could transport my sandwiches in without having to keep using plastic baggies, so viola! The Sandwich Keeper.

A piece of scrap fabric and a piece of plastic-y fabric. I sewed them together, trimmed the edges with pinking shears. I attached Velcro for a closure.

So now I can reuse this over and over. When is needs some cleaning from mayo or such, I just wipe the plastic-y side down with a little soap and water.

Thanks for looking.
